Ive been holding this review for 2 years, been a customer since the beginning. When I first met Timmy and Paul they were starting up their new business, the Comic Shop that the Conejo Valley was seriously lacking, Arsenal Comics. Over the past 2 years they have moved to a larger location to accommodate their large selection of back issues, statues, toys, game tables for board game nights, and sweet parties with live music from local bands (so sick). Did I mention he also gets comic creators and artists to come in to do signings? What really drew me in and kept me coming back is Timmys knowledge on anything Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, Image (etc etc etc) related. I can ask him a question about anything comic related, and he will always deliver that sweet sweet comic book knowledge straight to my brain - Timmy really knows his *isht. If theres anything Im interested in that he doesnt have in stock, he will make it easy on me and order it for the shop. I would much rather support his thriving business than shop on Amazon.

I cannot say enough good things about this store. Im a huge fan of supporting local businesses and it has taken me some time to find a store that has kept me wanting to come back time and time again. I started coming to this store about a year ago because they had issues in stock I literally could not find anywhere else, if anyone knows DCs rebirth series they know how hard some those issues were to find. From then on I have been blown away with the quality this store provides. Tim knows his stuff and goes above and beyond for his customers. The entire staff is upbeat and friendly, you would be surprised how many shops Ive been into where they wouldnt even acknowledge my presence. Not only is this a fantastic business but they also directly contribute to their local community which is something a lot of small businesses lack. Definitely a local gem that has my highest recommendation. Keep up the good work guys!

Absolutely terrible customer service. I bought a heavily priced board game (Swords and Sorcery) and when I took the shrink wrap off it the box was damaged with a large rip on the corner. The owner who I called was very abrupt on the phone and more or less blamed me for the damage, even though I was extremely careful, as I am with all my purchases, with handling it. He then left a rude voice message again blaming me and only wanting to give me a partial store credit. Very unprofessional and I will never be visiting this store again. I will order from Amazon or something in the future. I was happy to support a small business but it is not wonder they go out of business so often if they give such terribly customer service and prevent repeat customers. I was all set to continue buying games here but have abandoned that idea.

Ive been shopping at Arsenal since the day they opened, and can easily say that it is the most wonderfully run and caring business Ive ever had the pleasure of entering. Tim, Paul, and all their employees are nothing but kind and courteous to all their customers. They also have a fantastic selection of comics both old and new, figures, trading cards, and board games (and so many more things you would want from a comic book store). Having been to all the comic book stores in the area I can easily call this one the best. Thank you Arsenal. Thank you.

The folks at Arsenal Comics & Games are great down to earth people who care about their shop and those who go in to buy. They keep up with todays releases from many well known publishers & their titles. Need something you cant find, Timmy will do all he can to find it for you if possible. Lots of other great things to say but overall Arsenal is a great place to feel welcomed when shopping.

Its a wonderful store full of enthusiasm, fun, and can-do attitudes and spirits. Theyre always willing to help you out, and they provide a great refuge for a town where there isnt much to do. This store has games, music, comics and manga, action figures, posters all sorts of things! A great place for people of all ages and they are a welcome addition to our community!

Gonna admit, i buy off amazon for the big books, because design books are expensive and hurt my student wallet. But i always come in here and pick up some mags or a zine or two. Really helpful staff and i almost put my books on top of it on accident. That thing is probably the most comfy lazy cat ever.I need to go in and peruse their fiction section...

This is wonderful store, with an awesome staff and even better selection of all things nerdy: comics, games, and kitschy merch. Timmy (one of the owners) is hands-down one of the most professional , knowledgeable, friendliest people I have ever met. So, quit reading this review and go shop local at Arsenal! You will NOT be disappointed.

Customer comes first, the owner Timmy treated me as if Im bothering him even though he had nothing else to do and I was asking about comics to buy. Also another employee acting the same way and apparently the worker is Timmys friend so its biased. They both left me with an unsatisfying taste, Do not recommend.

As someone whos just getting into comics, these guys are great. Theyre very kind and generous with their knowledge, and are willing to explain stuff to those of us who are a bit overwhelmed with all the madness. They just love their product and its evident. Love this place.

Go nowhere else for anything comic related; Ive been religiously picking up Rick and Morty, and other goodies for a while now. Customer service is second to none, and its always a treat to go in and see whats new on the walls.
