Tried to use a 20% off coupon to purchase an album. The register screen said the purchase didnt qualify. No where in the list of non qualifying items listed on the coupon did it state albums were not applicable. Music manager said there was nothing he could do. He gave me a toll free customer service number (Philippines) to call. Customer service rep said the coupon should work. Also stated that the manager has the authority to override and apply discount. Really! Why didnt he, especially after he had no answers and stated hed never seen that happen before! I called back the store and spoke to the same music manager, I told him "why, in the future, would I drive 20 minutes, with a coupon, if I it was a roll of the dice as to whether or not the coupon would be good or not"!?! I had to ask him for the override discount. I also asked why he didnt give me the override in the first place. He said it was for unusual cases. I reminded him of his statement "hes never seen that before". Crappy customer service at the store level in Valencia. At least with this particular music manager. He knew the coupon did not state albums were not qualified, it was, by his own admission, an unusual situation, and he knew he had authority to override.

I had a sense of deja vu the first time I went here because this shooing center looks just like the one in West lake with the Barnes & Noble Booksellers Valencia. Okay parking, good sized 2 story bookstore, limited seating just like every other Barnes & Noble Booksellers Valencia Ive ever been to. The best thing about this bookstore is it has books you can physically pick up and look through great because there are so few bookstores left in CA . I buy fiction books for my Kindle but only buy paper books for reference and everything else so its nice be able to look through them here before I buy.

This place is the worst Barnes & Nobles I have everbeen to. Crappy customer service and their employees cant even crack a smile to help someone out. Im not sure who she is but theres a short blonde woman that works there with really long hair. She helped out my mom and I one time and couldnt even smile. Not one smile at all, just a grin like as if someone pissed in her Cheerios. Dont go here if you want poor customer service. Edit: The baristas are alot nicer then the B&N staff.

First time that I was at Barnes and Noble, I ended up surfing through books for THERE hours without even realizing it. I never had so much fun in this library as Ive never had so much fun going into a library before. It just piqued my curiosity since this bookstore offered a vast of endless books to read from! But, my time and experience there is great. Definitely coming here frequently from now on!

With the decline in Book sales, bookstores are harder to find now. This is one of the few Barnes and Noble locations in Southern California. This location has a Starbucks inside where you can sit down and study while enjoying a cup of your favorite Starbucks drink. From time to time, they have different reading events for kids and adults.

Its really nice to be able to walk in to a place and browse books. Actual books! In a world where everything is digital, its nice to still have the option to explore "old school" books and resources. A lot of options for anything you could want and a plethora of collectible items. Great kid selection of books and games as well!

Very large store, can get lost, some comfortable seats, visited by the community at large, if you have the right family, it is very pleasant. It has a coffee shop inside and just outside are several other eateries if you want something besides coffee. Parking is plentiful. Even though I am a local, I would come back

Its a corporate bookstore. It serves s purpose but has that classic "Ive been focused grouped to hell" feeling. But it serves it purpose in providing new books. The Starbucks isnt actually a Starbucks and the mistreatment of employees is pretty much universal as with all minimum wage corporate jobs.

I called their desk and inquired about am APA manual and informed them that I needed this asap. They were very professional and were able to inform me they could hold it. I went down about 10 minutes later and the book was waiting for me up front. Great customer service and very professional.

I am happy to still have a bookstore around. This particular bookstore is clean and theres lots of chairs to sit and read a book. Huge selection of books and lots of creative gift options. Relaxing and cozy in terms of getting away from tech and retro into the bookstore era. Enjoy!

Library is horrible. There is no where to sit except where the starbucks cafe is inside and thats always full. I had to sit on the floor many times to study and I have tailbone issues. The people that work there are extremely rude Would not recommend this library

Basically the last bookstore in town but has always been the best one. Good selection, nice associates. Plus, theres a Starbucks in the back for coffee and tasty treats. Prices can be much higher than Amazon in some cases but thats just the world we live in today.

One of the few remaining book stores in the SCV. Doesnt surprise me. I dont think books sell very well in this area. Whats surprising is that its still here, and hasnt turned into a gym or a gun shop. Anyways Ill keep being a customer until they close.

One of my favorite places to relax while getting the car checked out at the dealership. It is easy to get lost in any many of the isles on subjects that interest me. And there is an extensive choice of magazines to capture anyones interests.

Christmas they have wrappers, the children section have story telling, has a meeting area for community, I have been to a meet up Tuesdays , lots of specials, music section, love coffee area.
