I went into this location the first day of their VIB 20% off promotion. I didnt have time to shop but I had a return. My sister had bought me some items as a congratulations gift. I tried them a few times and they didnt work for me. Im a loyal VIB but my sister lives out of the country and is not. Anyway, when they ran my ID through their 3rd party system it got declined. I left and called TRE on my way out. They informed me that Sephora no longer is taking returns without receipt even though their policy says that they do. He verified that this was the first time I had ever done a rerun in their system and said I could mail in a dispute form and wait to hear back. I then called this location and spoke to Mat, he said to bring in the items and told me he would be able to work it out. When I got there another manager said she couldnt do anything. I know thats a lie due to what Mat and TRE had said. She just didnt want to. The items are either not used or used very minimally. This is ridiculous! A loyal customer, wasting hours and being treated like a criminal. She made me wait for 10 min while going to the back and "trying" to help. I will never go back to not only this location but Sephora again. There are so many other great beauty shops, time to branch out.

Sometimes Im here and someone will help me discover a great new product, but other times, like today, I wandered around and eventually had to ask where to find something, only to be told in a very faux distressed voice that the product was no longer carried, with no other recommendations. I know the sales associates dont control whats carried, but the fact that I had to ask for help and then was dismissed is poor customer service. Add that to the fact that there were plenty of employees but they all seem to be clumped together chatting amongst themselves. This place always seems overstaffed and the customers underserved.

For my fellow minority tattooed ladies Was in there for over 20 minutes and no one ask me once if I needed help or if I was looking for something in particular. I gotta a couple of looks and plenty of walk by the workers there but no help what so ever. Jerks. So I helped myself and found great Dior makeup and a great lip color from the kat von d collection. Ill go to my usual Sephora location in Hollywood were they arent judgemental, helpful and gladly spend my money. Though at the same Sherman oaks location the people at the Mac space in Macys gave me a hello with a smile and do I need any help.

I always have a wonderful time when Im in Sephora whether Im browsing or going for something specific. I find the sales women very friendly and not too pushy. They are helpful and try to work within your price point if you give them one. They are there to sell you products, and so they do, but they are never offended, I have found, if you dont buy everything they show you. Ive had my make up done there ( I paid for this service) and I never looked so good! Im sorry others have had a poor experience, but Im very happy with this store in Fashion Square. Keep up the good work!

In a very special circumstance, I called this store and was lucky enough to speak with Diane. This store was one of only two in North America to have what I needed in stock. Diane took the time to listen, find what I needed and hold it so a friend could come and pick it up and ship it. Not bad considering Im in Wisconsin. Cant thank Diane, Sephora and my friend enough!

I had my makeup done at Sephora in Sherman oaks mall and my make up artists name was Geena. Even though she had a limited time to finish my make up,!she still did an amazing job. My make up stayed on even after almost 7 hours of dancing and sweating. So thank you Geena for taking me out of my comfort box and made me try false lashes for the first time. I loved it

Was here for 15 minutes and not one person asked me if I need help or assistance. Would not recommend. Unless you look well off they wont even bother asking. I was ready to spend a few hundred on myself for my birthday but since no one offered to help me to find what I needed I got the toner I initially was looking for then left.

I went to purchase 5 diffrent items they only had 1 item in stock. The make up stations are none existent. I have gone several more times to this location since its the closer to my house. Its the same every time a mess nlless and less staions and out of stock. Waste of time.
