When Im trying to do a job around the house, and I dont feel like getting in the car and doing a 12 mile round trip to Home Depot, and then try to find someone on the floor whos helpful, wait in line to check out, and then if I get something that doesnt fit, do all of that again, well, I LOVE going into Bay Hardware right here in Seal Beach. Im usually helped right away, and back home 15 minutes later. My free time is precious, and Im aware that Bay Hardware pays higher rent than Home Depot, and Im aware they have to pay more for their merchandise, so why would I not expect to pay more too? They try really hard to be helpful, and you dont have to buy a whole box of that one size of screw that you need.

I have supported all local shops in Seal Beach for 40+ years. They are our "neighbors"!! However, when the local stores stop treating us as neighbors, My business will go to the big box stores. Bay Hardware has "new" policies for tool rentals, Their arogance & matter of fact attitude has lost them a long time customer!!! Their service no longer justifies their higher prices!!!

The employees at Bay Hardware always go out of their way to help you. Regardless of the scope of your project, Bays helpful and knowledgeable employees can offer a solution. Today Manny patiently helped me rebuild the locking mechanism on a sliding glass door, going above and beyond of my initial need. I highly recommend Bay Hardware for your fix-it or home improvement needs!

Absolutely the best hardware store around. They have crammed so much inventory into that place and have a really friendly staff to help you find everything. I have been shopping there for over 20 years and they have come really far in the last 3-4 years. They have a much larger selection of fasteners and "hardware" components than Home Depot or Lowes.

This is the greatest little hardware store thats not-so-little when it comes to inventory and expertise. The staff at Bay are always approachable with any questions - I know: they helped me remodel my house! They were/are extremely helpful with all sorts of questions from how-tos to what to use. Great BBQ selection/prices too!
