Got here early to pick up a new toilet seat and fertilizer - about 730am-ish - and to check out the herbs. Plenty of parking at that hour, I found a spot right up front. Happy to find the Kohler elongated seat had had a price drop of 5 clams (thats a gallon of petrol right there)! Found a 4lb bag of Dr. Earth Flower Girl for 11 and a wee 4in English Lavender for 4. Eagerly wheeled up to pay for my finds and I get cashier Daisy who seems unhappy to be there. She rings me up and then stands there as if waiting for something. I stare back, waiting for her to tell me my total. She mustve sensed the awkwardness because she started looking around the store as if bored. Wanting to complete my transaction before Christmas, I asked her what the total was. After what seemed like a full minute, her lips moved but no sound came out. Pardon me? Could you please speak up over the sound of the loudspeaker, the exit door not three feet away opening and closing to people in and out, the neighboring cashiers and customers chatting around us? No? How about angling the register display so I can get some idea of what Im expected to pay? Oh the latter took some effort but you somehow managed to do it in under five minutes, bravo. As Im putting my card back in my wallet, shes greeting the next customer. Wait, you mean you dont bag my items anymore or put them in my cart? Oh, youre going to just let them sit on the checkout counter while you wait for me to do all that. Silly me! Why didnt I just ring myself up and save us both the trouble? Wouldve given Home Depot 5 stars except for this impressive display of bad customer service. I have to say, Ive been shopping at this store since the 90s and its usually been a good experience.

I rarely write reviews because I dont think it matters to big companies like Home Depot. They dont care if customers have a terrible experience in their stores. They offer the lowest prices and pay their employees low wages and the executives make million every year for doing nothing. However, I recently attempted to purchase a bathroom vanity and toilet in the Alhambra Home Depot. After asking three employee for assistance I waited for 15 minutes in the aisle. No employees ever came to assist us. On the plus side I purchased the vanity I wanted online while waiting for assistance that never came. Finally we walked out. Hopefully in the near future Home Depot will go out of business because online retailers like Amazon dont make you deal with sales people that dont know what aisle hammers are on.

Usually come here for all my home needs. Went there this morning to ask one question about an interior door. At the door department, one guy was on the phone since I arrived. Another guy was chatting with his friend (not employee), while I waited patiently in front of him. As soon as he was done talking with his friend, the guy walked away. Turns out he was too busy helping someone else. What??? Too busy to answer my one question, but enough time to chat with his friend??? The guy that was chatting on the phone? Well, he was still busy chatting on the phone. I left mad at myself for asking for help here. Never again.

Website total fail on functionality. Cannot do anything on the page due to excessive popup adds. Paint department in Home Depot Alhambra, worst Ive ever dealt with. Slow, rude. Whomever manages this store has a level of apathy that resembles current arrogance of those who police our communities, and make the news for murdering our citizens. I really believe Home Depot believes that whatever customer service they provide, or do not provide, they will continue to have business at their current level, regardless of customer care, or the lack there of.

So, I just happened to be looking up the Alhambra Home Depot store number when I saw a bunch of these reviews. It looks like its a bunch of old people who come here to complain so Im going to give my $0.02. A Mr. Dave was very helpful on the phone. In the store, a fellow named Robert was doing his 100% to help out a pair of women trying to return a tile or something. A guy whose name I cannot remember but had TMNT on his apron was very helpful at the checkout, and everybody else was smiling the whole time. So 5 stars good job Home Depot Alhambra

Mike from hardware actually helped me out and offered to even bring the item to me. I didnt even ask for his help. I was looking for my item and he approached me and asked me if I needed anything. I said please and thank you and he was kind back to me. If you never worked in retail/restaurant business you might not have the insight on how stressful it can get. Theres always a rude customer that can ruin your day. If you use manners and treat the associate with patience and respect and they dont return the favor then you have a right to complain.

I WAS AT THE ALHAMBRA STORE 20MIN AGO. WAS VERY PLEASED WITH MY VISIT. A YOUNG MAN BY THE NAME OF THOMAS IN THE GARDEN DEPT. WAS VERY HELPFUL. EVEN ASKED ME IF I WOULD LIKE FOR HIM TO LOAD MY PURCHASE IN TO MY VEHICLE. NOW THINGS ARE CHANGING. I HAVE NOT ONCE HEARD AN EMPLOYEE ASK ME IF I NEEDED HELP WITH MY PURCHASE. I HAVE ALSO HAD TO FLAG SOMEONE DOWN FOR HELP. THIS WAS A PLEASANT VISIT. KEEP IT UP THOMAS, SHOW THE OTHER COWORKERS WHAT RESPECT IS. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. GOD REWARDS YOUR GOOD WORK. I HOPE HOME DEPOT WILL ALSO.

Its Christmas time and thankfully, Home Depot stocks a forest of trees to take home and everything else to satisfy your holiday decoration needs. Theyve got this down to a science and try to keep things as easy as possible for the customer. Went in to grab my tree and a wreath and got out for under $40. The tree selection is great and is an experience I prefer versus the small Christmas tree lots. Staff was helpful and got everything taken care of quick!

In a word, they suck! We ordered windows in April 2014, delivered in June - wrong windows. We re-ordered the windows on July 18 and they did not place the new order with Milgard until August 23. Sales people do nothing but make excuses, oh by the way did I say Home Depot sucks....they do. Everyone I talk to tell me what a horrible experience they had with their home improvement departments. Run dont walk to Lowes.

Employees were completely unhelpful, some even arrogant, as if they knew what I was looking for and where it was (something they DIDNT have). I only gave it 2 stars because I found some of the things I was looking for at decent prices. Theyre lucky theyre the only big hardware store remotely nearby. I am going to try to find another store and will shop elsewhere in a heartbeat if they have what Im looking for.
