Since we moved into our new home two years ago, this store has been like our second home. We hardly have trouble finding what we need and the customer service is pretty good. Their installation services however, Im a bit skeptical on. We had our roof re-done on our house last year. The workmanship was great, and the roof looks beautiful. However they promised to clean up everything, including nails, hardware...etc and still to this day I am finding screws and staples on the ground around the house. Also, they replaced the dual cap of our furnace with a single standard home cap. We live in a manufactured home and our furnace has a dual exhaust pipe. Winter came around and we were not able to light our furnace. After a few furnace inspections and $$$ later we come to find it was the cap on our roof installed by home depot. Been going back and forth for about a month with home depot phone customer service and still not fixed. I dont think I will go with these guys for any more home installations especially on manufactured homes.

I was pleasantly surprised today in Santa Clara CA Home Depot: I was looking for a dolly, we needed it next morning, Luckily I met a nice young guy, Travis. He helped me find location of the item I am looking, unfortunately only one item remain, it was missing parts. Travis promptly checked inventory on his phone, find out another . Problem was it was at the top of the shelves. He contacted another associate, and organize a transportation to get an items from the top of the pile. He advised me to look around store for other items i was planning to get, and pick Item in 5-10 min By the time I ‘ve got back, I found several more items (dolly I am looking) neatly located for easy pick up. I am very grateful , it makes Lafayette Santa Clara Home Depot a “my location” forever!

I dont go here much so my review may be impartial, but Ive always had very good customer service whenever Im here (usually night time after rush hour till closing). The staff had always been very friendly and helpful in finding what I needed (they even approached me first to ask if they could help), replacing/fixing a defective item without additional charge, directing me to whom I needed to talk to for future reference, and overall making me feel at ease, which is quite different from some other HD where Im just left to browse on my own and staff sometimes dont even know where stuff is or dont care enough to not give attitude. Will update review if anything changes.

So I was referred to this Santa Clara store by one of the Home Depot Manager locations. We are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization spoke with Ben who sounded like he was asleep on the phone and introduced himself as an Operations Managers. I asked to speak to the person who handles donations and he flat out told me that Home Depot does not donate to any churches which is a FAT lie. Its either he does not understand the what 501(c)(3) means or he does not understand company policies. The other managers gladly gave me coupons and asked that I call the other Home Depots especially if I am doing a project for the community.

They gave a me a delivery date. I called the day before the delivery to ask when I was supposed to receive an email about time of delivery. They said "I dont know why they changed the date..." but they moved my delivery date to 2 weeks later. They tried working with me on the delivery date... was putting everything on me to call verify and confirm... when this should be their responsibiliity. When I called, they said they would connect me to manager... and as we speak, am on hold going on 45 mins..... simply unacceptable service. I completed my part the purchase agreement... and they have/did not.

went to get shelves and containers in the morning. there was a lot of staff but they were still very busy with helping multiple customers. i needed 3 lids for my container bins. and when employees freed up they all came to my isle. when it was taking to long to get the machine to get my item from the top shelf they offered to upgrade me for free. they even gave me a shorter line since i was already waiting for them. Walker, Sabrina, and the rest went above and beyond for amazing customer service!!

Very poor response from the staff , I was looking for some help in the nails section the specialist just turned around me saying he had some other work , which is not quite professional , I asked for help from the service help desk but no one turned out Finally I had to figure out what I wanted by myself and googling , WORST HOME DEPOT AROUND THIS AREA !!!!

The Santa Clara Home Depot is my favorite. The knowledgeable, friendly staff feel like they are invested in making sure that customers have a good experience. The store is clean and well-stocked. They also do a good job of maintaining their "clearance end caps" with good deals on discontinued or returned items.

Great place for home improvement. Staff is very friendly and engaging. We buy a lot of stuff for out theater sets work. Some crazy projects and the staff has been very cooperative with us. Mostly bery patient to understand what crazy ideas we got and then suggest best possible options.

No staff! Doesnt cut window glass or plexi in-store because "its a safety hazard"! LOL! So, they have wood of all thicknesses as well as metal and plastic pipe that you can get cut in-store, but not glass or plexi for windows??? No wonder Orchard Supply and Lowes exist.

This is my go-to hardware store even though Lowes may be a bit closer. I find that HD always has a better selection and more staff on the floor. Lots of parking and short lines. Prices are usually competitive and the store is well laid out.

Terrible customer service from designer Hana. Poor energy, terrible customer service. Never had that experience before. She did a really poor design. Let me choose the options by myself without guidance. Definitely dont recommend her!

We go here at every first Saturday of month. Home depot runs kids workshop on these days and is very good activity. Store is okay, but people are nice. I drive up there to defer Sunnyvale home depot crowd!

Pretty good Home Depot, generally well-stocked and items usually not too hard to find someone to help. Checking out always seems to take forever, even when its not crowded.

The customer service doesnt know where anything. They spent like 15 minutes and sending me to a bunch of different people and places in the store just to find some tape.
