Go to Lowes, or better yet a non-big-chain retailer. YOU WILL REGRET BUYING FROM HOME DEPOT. We purchased a new front-loading washer, and the third party installer, Temco Logistics never showed up for our 1-5 p.m. window and didnt give us a call the day-of to let us know they were running late or that they could not deliver. We tried calling them multiple times, but they did not answer. When we called Home Depot at 3:30 p.m. to also check Temcos status, the Home Depot appliance personnel from whom we purchased the appliance, kindly followed up with them and discovered they were running a couple hours behind. In the end, we were very inconvenienced because our Saturday was spent waiting for 6 hours (1-7 p.m.)!! We went into Home Depot at 7:30 p.m. yesterday to file this complaint to the appropriate parties, request for compensation for our missed appointment, urge Home Depot to hold Temco (and all other third party installers) more accountable and have higher standards for their service to customers. When we finally got a rescheduled appointment, the delivery guys (now Enterprise who were hired by Temco) never called a half hour before. Luckily, I was home and didnt leave for work yet! They delivered the washer but scratched the paint off our wall from pulling out the old washer and placing the new one. They also claimed the anti-vibration pad was not delivered with the washer. So of course, we call and go into Home Depot to retrieve the pad and it takes forever for someone to help us (30 min. in fact) and when we finally get to talk to Customer Service ...they make us wait another 30 min. to check if they have it in the back and then to "re-order" it. We ended up walking out as our time was way more valuable than the $30. This is the second time, Home Depots contracted work has left me feeling so dissatisfied and frustrated. A few months ago, I had a similar issue with JW Installs, Home Depots carpet installer, and after 2 times of them not showing up when they said they would, and 1 guy walking out on the job itself, then they somehow finished the job. Home Depot should compensate its customers for dragging them along such a terrible duration of customer service. In person, the staff seem to try their best to save face and comfort, but seem to not feel empowered to try to improve the system nor satisfy the customer. The real issues lie with management and the systems put in place, so these shortcomings should be passed on. Unfortunately, after speaking to an assistant manager who promised she would follow up on our situation and pass along our situation to higher management, I have not been able to get a hold of her via email or phone. Its taken so long that its a waste of time to keep following up with complaints. The only thing I can do now is to never do business with them again and to urge you to do the same.

My favorite home Depot store. It is huge and have huge inventory from all the home building supplies to materials needed for personal projects. The store also carry variety of electrical tools, power tools, craft tools, carpentry tools, tool sets, electrical appliances and other electrical supplies for the home and garden. Huge selection for rugs, kitchen appliances, fences and lumber. They also sell tool houses ready to go which are kept outside in the parking lot. Great selection of BBQ supplies and outdoor furnitures. The nursery consists fresh and lively plants and garden supplies with variety of tool for gardening and lots of raw materials. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They also conduct some workshops on weekly bassi to teach people how to work with tools and complete their home projects. These workshops are pretty much do yourself kind of workshops with supervision and assisted learning. Great store and full of positive energy.

No one to help. Asked lady at register and she said no lot workers but ask guy watering....SO I ASK Bobby who is watering if he can help me and his response was "depends on what you need help with" RUDE. Then after speaking with a manager they found me someone to help put heavy stuff on my card and bring to register for me. Then they had to find someone else to bring it to my truck for me. That person was very nice butt stacked everything High so as soon as I start to drive away all of my 12x12 bricks are going to slide off in the back of my truck and possibility is very high that at least a couple of them will crack, I told attendant that and his response was "lets cross our fingers they dont". ARE YOU KIDDING ME. Im over this place and Im done and Im never shopping here again. Btw Im 50 y.o. female that explained that I had had surgery and thats why I was unable to do lifting.

Visiting this Home Depot or almost any Home Depot is an odd experience in a few ways. Imagine a store so vast where you know beyond a doubt that within its mysteries it holds that which you seek most. However its vastness also means that you may find yourself searching for an eternity to find what you need only to find it tucked away in the most illogical of places. As you journey through the endless aisles you will find many employees all who will eagerly help you but may or may not know where to find what you are looking for either. I imagine if you came to one of these stores a lot it would be a great one stop shop but its not a great place to go when you need to just get something quick and get out and you dont already know exactly where it is.

The only reason why Im giving this place 3 stars is because of the lady in the curtains section that helped us tonight. This is the absolute only time I have ever found a Home Depot employee helpful and friendly. We went here a few weeks ago do purchase a few things to plant some vegetables and we asked the cashier for help and was told "I dont know".... In most cases you would assume if an employee didnt know the answer to a simple question like "can you use this type of spoil for this type of plant?" They would either not be working in that department or help you find someone who could answer your question.... Nope, not this employee! Plus management here sucks..

Would have had a better shot at getting some lumber cut by assuming a javelin motion and tossing my 48x24x1 piece of wood from San Jose to an approximate location where I assume there are beavers and that theyll find a way to send it back once the jobs been finished. The lumber staff here was virtually ineffective in fulfilling a simple request to cut 3.5" into the wood. Two staffers approached the request with the same anxiety of how I imagine Einstein sought to prove relativity. Went to Lowes and got my wood cut by an employee who was disappointed in the overall simplicity of my request. The lack of complexity might have been beneath his skillset. The irony!

Awhile back I got helped by this nice older woman to buy a new cook top oven combination unit. Her name was Karen and she was really nice, but the problem wasnt the service, the problem was when they deliver the appliance it was scratched up, I told them no way and I want a new one and the next time the other side was scratched! so I had to rearrange my schedule and again and finally i got a good appliance. It was all very frustrating though. I almost wish I went somewhere else. The two stars are solely for the lady that assisted me to pick the best appliance.
