The Best Car Sales Person Ever! Kudos to Volvo of Orange for the best customer service in the person of Lynne Collins. This was actually our second experience with her and had it not been for her, this probably would have been our last visit to Volvo of Orange. This is what happened... My son, Mikel, had actually purchased his first used Volvo from this dealership just last July and it was Lynne who took the time to see that everything we asked about Volvos, particularly the V50 that may son was interested in, were answered. She was very patient, very personal and very warm. I couldnt believe that she had all the time to spend with us! My son had just come out unscathed from a bad car accident on the freeway and had it not been for his old 1987 Volvo 240 GL, he probably would still be in the hospital. Because his old volvo had "saved his life", he knew that his replacement car would also be a Volvo. So after a few hours of going through the process with Lynne, my son finally bought the car. It was during a succeeding visit of Mikel to get a spare key that my other son, Stephen, accompanied him, met Lynne, and asked her that if a C30 would be available, if she could call him or me as he was interested in buying his "first" car. And so after a week, Lynne calls me and informs me that a 2010 C30 R-design was available and that they had just received it and hadnt had it detailed yet for display. We arranged to meet her that day at 6:00 PM as Lynne said that she needed to see her dentist and that she would have the car brought out for us to see. We went to the dealership a bit early, saw the C30 and was waiting for her when another customer came to us to tell us that he had already purchased the car!!. When Lynne arrived, we told her what happened and upon checking, she was disgusted to find out that another sales person had already sold the car even if according to her, we were supposed to be the first in line to see the car and that her manager had known about our appointment to see the car. We were very disappointed and i was ready to file a complaint with whoever was in charge. It was at this point that Stephen started to look in the lot for other C30s and found a 2013 C30 basic model. Upon checking with Lynne, she said that if Stephen wanted it, she was going to make sure that Stephen got the best deal after what just happened with the 2010 car. Well, she did just that. After processing our requests for a car loan, Lynne and her Sales manager offered Stephen a deal he could not refuse. Aside from giving it to us at the employees price, they further deducted $ 700 from the amount making the final amount just about $ 600 over the 2010 C30 that Stephen initially wanted. We couldnt believe it- a brand new 2013 car with free 5 years maintenance for just $ 600 above the 2010 car. My wife and I couldnt help but smile at each other and silently said "thank You Lord for this gift and for using Lynne!" Yes, Lynne is the best car sales person we have ever met. We now have two Volvos at home and I wouldnt be surprised if we get a third one care of Lynne Collins of course.

This review is only applicable for people who owns the new Volvo XC90. At this dealer they dont know how to upgrade the software of the XC90. I lost one Saturday for a routine 10,000 miles service and they werent able to perform the software upgrade. Below the email I sent to the service manager and service consultant which they didnt have the dignity to reply at all. Hi Mark, We just picked up our car this afternoon and we are very disappointed with the service we got at Volvo of Orange county dealer. Our disappointment is not only about losing an entire day on Saturday for a regular 10,000 mile service appointment + software upgrade which we were told 3 times it would only take 2 hours, maximum 3 hours and ended up being 5 hours and leaving the car at the dealer over the weekend because the battery was drained. Not only we never got any kind of receipt or paper work upon arrival but we didnt get any paper work at all! Its like we never visited your dealership. On top of all of that, the car was due for a major software upgrade (released in May I believe). This upgrade adds driver profiles to the car (From Volvo XC90 Owners Manual) and small things like cancel button on navigation screen when a route is ongoing. Both things are missing in our car which makes me think the update wasnt installed at all. We also were told Spotify wasnt released yet and I just saw this in the Volvo website: SPOTIFY CAR MODEL/MODEL YEAR XC90 and XC90 Twin Engine of model year 2016, following a software update in connection with service Finally, on the car status section there is a message saying we need service in 60 days! I dont want to point fingers here but you can see why I think it was a sloppy job. Now I will have to take the car to the dealer in Lake Forest to make sure the car is up to date and it has the fixes for the moon roof recall and the AC leakage recall since they are fix through software update.

First google review Ive ever written, and Im sorry it has to be so totally negative. But this was disgusting. Volvo of Orange County gave me a surprisingly slimy, dishonest used car salesman experience. I have the cash and I want one car, but youre awful. Volvo of Mission Viejo had a great, low pressure, friendly environment but they didnt have the particular car I was looking for. Volvo OC, this dealership, did. So I emailed, giving the exact Inventory number, and got a confirmation itd be ready. The sales guy I wrote with wasnt there, but I met salesguy Galib. The short of it is, he pulled a bait and switch. He had me test drive a car that seemed...similar to the one I asked for, and assured me this was indeed the one and only exact car I wrote about. It would be weird of him to lie about something I had confirmed in writing, and thats on their website, so I thought it was legitimate. Real fun to drive, and he confirmed the both the price and that it was Certified when I asked. Afterwards, I discovered that he in fact lied to my face across the board. It was $6,000 more expensive, and without warranty. You lied about every aspect of the car, and you tried to emotionally manipulate me into the more expensive, less reliable car after I gave you an explicit request in writing. Theres the question: "Was it an honest mistake?" And the answer is that its funny how you chose the car that would net a way higher commission. Funny how you didnt accidentally choose, say, a cheaper model. Funny how used car salesmen dont make mistakes in that less predatory direction. Icing on the cake was coffee spilled in a puddle all over the lobby desk that everyone working there tried to ignore. There was no sense of professional integrity. Id rather not buy a car than buy from you and I recommend that others consider the same.

I have used Volvo of Orange County since it opened. Im on my six Volvo. Ive bought four or maybe five (cant remember that far back) cars from them (a positive experience) and have always used them for service. Here are some of the good points. 1. The facilities are nice, clean, and comfortable for waiting. Its easy to bring my laptop and work. They let me use a sales desk if the lobby area has the television on and I need more quiet. I often get even more work done while waiting for my car. 2. The service staff (at the desk) seems to have very little turnover, and its nice to know names and faces and for them to be familiar with me and my car. 3. I dont worry about the type of work they do. Theres never been a time that Ive brought my car back for a second service for the same problem. 4. I dont wonder if theyre scamming me by telling me theres a problem when theres not. While this is something I probably wouldnt know anyway, I have good intuition and follow my instincts. Today when I went to make an appointment, the 800 number had changed, without a mention of a new number, which is why Im on this website and saw the need for the review. Im told that they are working with the phone company to fix this. I had a panicked fear that they were no longer in business and Id have to take my car elsewhere. Definitely relieved to know this isnt the case!
