This place is a zoo during the weekends. The staff here is really friendly and very helpful. You immediately get greeted as you walk into the store and ask if you are looking for anything in particular. If you dont know what to buy, any member of the staff will quickly ask you questions to assess and then make great recommendations. This store has a huge Pick & Build LEGO wall that you can either purchase a plastic half container or full container and pick out the exact LEGO pieces that you want. This store also has two LEGO station areas, a Duplo and a LEGO, that kids and parents are always huddled around, playing and assembling the pieces. The store is organized by themes to help you quickly find things in which both little kids and big kids can easily satisfy their LEGO fix.

I went here a few weeks ago trying to get some parts for my LEGO Wall-E modifications. I showed the part list to one of the store attendants there, and he knew actually what I was trying to do :). Its really cool to have someone work at a store that have passion about the product theyre selling. He recommended me to go to the LEGO online store to get most of the parts I needed, since they dont have it in store. Even gave me a coupon for free shipping from the online store (even though it already expired. Hey its the will that counts :p) Anyway, we ended having a nice chat about LEGO modification in general and I learned a lot about different motor and parts needed (Im a LEGO mod noob). Definitely a great experience.

This Lego store has a large selection of sets, including the newest kits. They had bricks by the pound too and several accessories (mats, key tags, etc.). Theyve got the mini-figure creation station for kids, and their fully-assembled vignettes are fun, colorful, and inspiring. The employees are very friendly and knowledgeable about the rarer sets. Tip: Be sure to set up your Lego VIP account or get a Lego Club account for your kids so you can get some good in-store and online deals.

Surprisingly this is one of the few Lego Stores in the Bay Area, aside from the one in SF and South Bay. This one usually has a good inventory of their latest offerings, and the staff is typically helpful. It gets very crowded anytime there is a new release so you might want to hit this place early if you want a particular set.

If you are missing a piece or need just one unique piece you can get that here. Love that you can build your own lego character. Compared to other lego stores I have gone to this one is much smaller, but still good.

I love the LEGO store, but avoid it on weekends when it is full of happy loud kids. Weekdays though, you can browse in peace and count on helpful staff.
