I bought a new computer (custom built) from Central Computers - with a new baby in the family, I didnt want to take the time to build a new one or do a ton of research and expected to pay a premium for good hardware and the construction process. The good news is, I got the great hardware but none of the extra cost. The parts were all pretty top of the line, and price comparisons with other online stores showed the prices were comparable (or in some cases cheaper) than good reputable stores like newegg. Likewise, I got good in-person advice from the techs and store clerks, and the assembly price was very low. Finally, when my home computer unexpectedly kicked the bucket and I called to ask if they could expedite the build process, they not only finished it for me THAT DAY but also charged me only a tiny amount for the rush. They had it ready to go a full week ahead of time and the topline charge was barely changed. Seriously, I cannot recommend these guys enough. Theyre fantastic.

First, they have an all new staff. This wouldnt be a problem if their new tech wasnt such a condescending prick. And when I called him out on it he acted like nothing was wrong. He started by telling me that my diagnostic of my computer was wrong just because he hasnt seen the problem before (I was right about the problem). I dont know how nice the rest of the staff is but they all seemed nice. Miss the old staff but still a great place, just dont talk to the dick who thinks you dont know anything. Other than that they are a great store and have most things youll need for building pc, peripherals, or phone accessories.

Frys Electronics has been my go to computer parts store for many years now, but since I discovered Central Computers, I have saved a lot of money in gas and found a great selection of parts for my specialty DIY projects. They are very affordable and have a wide selection of useful items not typically found except on Newegg or Amazon (such as handheld keyboards, power adapters, weird audio connectors, etc.). Go here for parts!

Fantastic. Ive had numerous conversations with the staff, and most of it is pretty spot on. These guys are way more intelligent than the staff at Frys, thank god. Frys staff is horrible and extremely uneducated. The selection they carry is pretty comprehensive, and if they dont have it in store, they will transfer it for you, or find a way to get it done. Overall, I highly recommend going to Central Computers.

Rather go to Frys... They never have anything in stock that they advertise online, unless its the latest and greatest, so if you want to upgrade good luck. If you want a cheap knock off of a charger or cable for a apple product they got it, just good luck if it lasts. Atleast Frys has things in stock.... Oh well I hoped for better.

Computer shops are becoming rare these days. Its great to have a computer store you can walk into and talk to knowledgeable staff. Stock products that are highly rated on Amazon. Prices are reasonable. If you need something and dont want to wait for shipping, get it here. Plus its fun to look around.

Theyll build you a custom computer, repair your mac or PC laptop or desktop, and they have a very good selection of parts and cables and such. I go here anytime I cant wait for an amazon delivery, or need to interface with a real human person.

My computer had a psu (power supply) failure but wasnt sure what it was. THEY WERE AMAZING and helped me with a birrage of complicated questions which I threw at them. Thanks Central Computers. So much better than best buy

Good store with nice array of options. Easily accepted an exchange on a wireless router that was defective. Advice/product knowledge from employees is hit or miss.

Great for custom builds you dont want to put together yourself. Do you research. Check their work. Prices are pretty good. Selection is good to high end.

Excellent general purpose computer store with builder parts. Would have been 3-4 stars back in the day, but now its the best of a slowly dying breed.

I like The Computer Store its the type of store you go in shop by yourself or ask for help. I gave up on Frys. The customer service is bad at Frys

Product line is pretty solid if you want to build a computer or need to pick up components. Customer service is lacking, however.

Decent selection. Staff is knowledgeable. Seems to be geared toward SUB more than consumer, but can help both.
