My ICom 710RT wasnt working right so I had Jacque come to my boat. $125/hour with a two hour minimum. Ok, I needed a dummie load to test my radio output and Jacque showed up with one. Four hours and $500 later Jacque determined I needed to send my radio back to ICom America. So I paid $50 and shipped the radio to WA state. I got an email from ICom, the repair was only $93. They FIXED THE 30 AMP EXTERNAL FUSE! I am not happy that I had to pay $700 ($500 service call, $100 in shipping, $93 to ICom) to replace a 30 amp fuse. It was NOT the 5 amp internal fuse. I do not recommend Reliable Marine Electronics for any radio repairs. Not checking a fuse goes right up there with "is it plugged in?" or "is there gas in the tank?"

Pleasant experience. I was greeted by a helpful frendly voice on the phone. My Raymarine C80 was not displaying the boats position. I was concerned after reading the negative review but decided to give them a chance. I noticed a sign as soon as I entered that clearly stated there is a minimum $100.00 charge for counter service. They examined my chartplotter for about 40 min and determined it was operational. I was prepared to pay when they said no charge! The have my business.

I received excellent service during a recent check/service. I had a simple problem with my radar that the owner took care of very quickly. He thoroughly tested my radar after the repair. Since my repair took less than the minimum billable time, I was happy that he filled up the time taking care of some other minor problems that had been bugging me. I will return whenever I have problems in the future.

Told me "Sure! Just bring in your Datamarine depth finder and well check it out! So friendly until they couldnt fix it and charged me $100 for just checking it (which they didnt tell me on the phone before I drove almost 1 hour to the shop.) Screw these guys -- before they screw you.
