Well, its a far cry from the huge Asian markets I had grown used to. This is it, as far as Asian groceries go, in SLO. The owner is great, the packaged food selection is adequate, the frozen stuff, ok. I was able to find about 80% of my yearly Oshogotsu supplies. Ill continue to shop there, but I love it when I go home to the big specialty Asian markets.

Maybe Im just excited and SLO has an Oriental Market at all, but the owner seems like a really nice guy and has always been very helpful when Ive stopped in. They seem to have a decent selection, especially since the whole store is maybe 400 square feet. Anyway, A+, these guys are great!

Small market, but is packed with all kinds of Asian foods not available elsewhere. There are also dishes, decorations, cooking utensils, among other items.
