Will NEVER shop at California Fresh Market again. Deli help was rude and demeaning. Checker at cash register was indifferent, complaining he had to close every day this weekend (a holiday weekend). Not the local feeling I was looking for. I have lived in SLO county for 35 years, I have never been spoken to like that! Where is customer service?? What happened to appreciating your customers? They may have organic food, but I can get that at Trader Joes WITH great service and happy employees. Im bummed I spent over $100 there today! So mad!

This store was recently revamped and it looks amazing. I recently stopped in as I was passing through town. I wanted to grab a snack and something to drink before I proceeded on to San Diego. The service was great and the fresh new look with updated fixtures provide a clean comfortable shopping experience. I will always be sure to stop in here for my snacks while traveling to and from the San Diego area!!!!!! Great job California Fresh Market

I like the layout of Pismo Beachs California Fresh Market better than the San Luis Obispo location. It also has a better selection. They make excellent speciality sandwiches. They also have a great hot and cold deli, a fresh sushi bar as well as, a very nice salad bar. Moderately priced. Helluva lot cheaper than Whole Foods. If you go to and order a sandwich I recommend you order the "Jordan". Prime rib, thick cut bacon and more. Bomb!!!!

Nice market but high prices. Id like to make it my main market but high prices and somewhat limited selection means Im still going to other markets to complete my shopping. Nice atmosphere and generally not crowded make it a nice place to shop. I was enjoying the brownies from the bakery case but the last few times they were out and replaced by something called a "desert slice" which wasnt very good not to mention a really dumb name.

I highly recommend this place for anyone who enjoys good food, local businesses, and fantastic service. They can be a bit pricey on some things, but they have a world class deli and meat counter and bakery. The bargain shopping you can do here will blow your mind. California Fresh Market is the only place I will shop for groceries outside of the farmers markets. They carry bread from House of Bread in SLO, tortillas from Lompoc Tortilla, Clam Chowder from Splash Cafe, and the list goes on and on! BONUS: After 7:30 pm all thier hot deli items are half off!

Great store. Every associate I saw said hi and asked if I needed help finding anything. They have bulk bins of nuts and beans and snacks! The produce was good and the baby section was interesting. The half chicken breasts were the best Ive bought in this area.

So glad we found the California Fresh market. We were looking for a place with a great deli. This place is it! Although a bit on the pricey side it is by far worth it. I always go in and try their samples and buy new dishes from their deli. Super yummy!

In this area..it is not too bad. It is a strange mix of a Whole Paycheck place with a Supermarket...but is pricey. Few bargains here. Produce could be fresher. Great wine selection. Not for the frugal. Generally good staff.
