First of all, if you want to skip the story, heres the good part: Jeff Long of Longshot Auto Sales is now the ONLY guy Im going to buy or lease a car from. Period. He saved me time, he saved me money, and went out of his way (literally!) to help me not only find the right vehicle, but at the right price and with a dealer overjoyed to get my business. I would even go so far as to say that going to a dealer without using Jeff and his company would be a Really Bad Idea. But by going through Jeff, well, I could not be happier. And it was FAST, too. Highest recommendation. Now the details: Having moved from Austin to Santa Clara and spending a small fortune on rental cars, I decided it was time to finally lease a car. I searched Craigslist for lease-takovers, but something told me to click on Long Shot Auto Sales as they were advertising a Subaru. I had just bought a 2015 Subaru Forester XT in Austin, and prying that out of my wifes hands was not going to be easy ... or even a smart idea. LOL. I had shopped briefly for this car from some local dealers, and was dismayed both by the reviews and also the general level of car salesmanship (that is to say, sort of "old school", as in "ugh."). Prices didnt seem to be very good, either (even for a loyal multiple Subie owner). So I sent a text message to Longshot Auto, and Jeff replied with a text message, and we just spent some time texting what I wanted, what price I was looking for, and so on. Within ONE DAY he had a brand new 2016 Subaru Forester XT (turbo) lined up at a dealer I had not even considered. But the problem was, I was renting a car from Sixt at the San Jose Airport, and how was I going to drop off my rental car and then get all the way to the dealer? Jeff was quite willing to pick me up at the airport and drive me to the dealer, and SAT THERE to make sure the deal was exactly as he had described, and that I was completely happy. Props also to Livermore Subaru, who treated us with great respect, and delivered the exact car I wanted at a price I could not negotiate myself (thank you, Jeff. And if you go to Livermore Subaru, ask for Sam -- hes a stand-up guy, no weird car salesman funny business). But why go to a dealer alone when Jeff, because of his services, gets better prices than we ever could and provides such great service? Jeff and his partner Jeremy were car dealers before they created this business, and the dealers around the Bay Area really do respect them. Theres no games, theres no problems, theres just the joy of driving the car I wanted at the price I could afford at (in my case) lease terms I can live with. Highest recommendation. These guys have integrity. By the way, you dont pay Longshot, you just pay the dealer. Its all very clean.

Awesome service run by great owners. I had the opportunity to work with both Jeremy and Jeff and both went above and beyond my expectations to provide me with great service. Jeremy was there with quick responses to all of my questions and Jeff met me at the dealership to close out my deal and ensure everything went well. These guys not only saved me a lot of money off the MSRP but they also gave me the most money for my 11 year old car, all while saving me time and effort! I am very pleased with Longshot Auto Sales and would work with them again as well as recommend them to anyone I know in the market for a new car.

I would recommend this service to anyone looking for quality from A to Z. Using an auto broker really makes sense. Jeff is extremely customer service oriented and has great networking skills. The combination of these two elements is of great value to his clients. He is good at negotiating, is highly knowledgeable, and truly cares about those he is representing.
