This is a bit of a local thrift store, that is theres not many folks coming from around the county just to check this out. Although if you like Thrift stores and youre in Normal Heights already, I do recommend hitting it up. Its small but fairly packed and the inventory seems to be rotating constantly, which is good. The volunteers that work here are great and go out of theyre way to help you find things you might have a particular need for. A quick note about donations... This location really could do with an after-hours secure donation bin. Several times Ive tried to donate clothing after the store was closed and always feels a bit awkward leaving a garbage bag full of otherwise usable Clothes in front of the shop doors.

The staff is friendly, and there are definitely some interesting items for sale. However, many of the items are overpriced, even ones that are clearly damaged (e.g., torn clothes, loose or broken furniture, etc.). Overall, the quality of the products is good, but the owners need to reassess how they price stuff, especially during these economically challenging times.

Out of the three Mission Outreach thrift stores Ive been to in the area, this one is the worst. As much as I want to like it.. The staff is just so unfriendly. The other two locations are wonderful but no one even smiles or says hi at this one. Also pretty cramped and much smaller selection than the other two.

Nothing particularly unique or interesting. Items that garner any attention have been researched on ebay and priced accordingly and above. Overall not worth the trip.
