RECOMENDADO. visite con mi mujer la tienda el jueves 1 andabamos desesperados por encontrar un calendario azteca que le perdio a su hermano y un joven muy amable me atendio y me observo estresado o no se - me dijo que me ayudaria a conseguirlo y se agarro marcando a todas las tiendas o no se pero me lo encontro-- yo jamas habia visitado una de empeño pero quiero volver ya que solo me querian dar un 20% de descuento cuando el joven me dijo que era un 35 y les dije que marcaran y preguntaran y me hicieron valido mi 35%, MUCHAS GRACIAS.

I called at 9am on June 21 to inquire about selling some Blu-ray DVDs, I was told by a man that DVDs are 50 cents and Blu-Rays are $1 sale price. I told him I would be in around 12:30-1pm and he said great. Now when I got there a Spanish speaking woman was at the counter helping another customer. Then when she got to me I told her I had called earlier about selling Blu-Rays and she said they were not buying any due to stock. I dont know what her issue was but I asked if that was the fact then why wasnt I told that when I called...which is the whole purpose for calling in the first place...she had no explanation. When I asked her if she knew of any other pawnshops excepting Blu-ray sale she said no. When I got back into my car I decided to call the number I had found on Google. The same man who Ive spoken to earlier picked up the phone. I explained to him what happened and asked if he knew any other pawnshops that would buy, he recommended the pawn shop across the street from target. Experience Rating: Lame

I started going to this place to pawn some of my jewelry a few years ago. I pawn for a few months and then get it back out and then pawn again if something comes up, but I dont intend to sell, I always want to get my jewelry back... its JUST a loan, so I dont try to get as much as possible, just enough to get me by. When I started going there a guy named Felix worked there and he was so awesome. Very nice, very courteous, great customer service. Hes no longer there which sucks but everyone else there is still essentially nice. I like that they are open everyday, they are open later than other pawn shops Ive been to and they always have parking. They have longer than most loans. I used to go to a pawn shop downtown and their loan time is only for 3 months, express pawn is for 5 months! I wish Felix still worked there but ultimately I like this place.

I was there on 05/7/2017, a very nice young man with the establishment was smoking outside and give me a very nice greeting. It stopped there. I had to be buzzed in and was not greeted by a woman working behind the counter whose look on her face was as if she had poop in her nostrils. I stated my business (selling a ring) and she, in as few words as possible, told me to place the ring on the counter. While standing there more nervous than a dude right before his first prostrate exam, she told me 30 bucks (I paid 1100), I put my hand out to get the ring back and she put it on the counter next to me. The store was very clean but, that woman was, in my opinion, rude. I dont recommend that place at all. Oh yeah, went to another pawn shop and got $200.00.

Definitely a good experience at this location, I have been familiar with the express spawn shop chain for a while now and after attending multiple ones in the past this has to be the quickest and most comfortable experience Ive had. To begin with the location was convenient and generally nice. I had been looking to potentially pawn/sell a few things and purchase some electronic equipment. The management was superb and actually motivated me to write a review which I rarely do. Thank you to the lovely manager for helping me out smoothly, normally at other locations they do not seem to care as much and communicate with you as well but here it was great. I hope other people experience the same customer satisfaction I did here at the Balboa location.

Visite express casa de empeno y encontre los mejores precios en peliculas me compre 12, increible lo que pague 2 dolares por cada una. Los recomiendo ampliamente, atI enden muy bien y son amables la srita. Manager y el asistente de lo mas educados. Vayan y visitenlos.

A great place to buy gold and jewelry. Maria was very welcoming and nice and underdstanding. Clean and courteous staff. Very helpful and right to the point. I go here once in awhile to help out with small bills (Inflation) rising. If you need or want a good deal on merchandise or to get a loan, then this is the place. Very convenient and fast. I would recommend them to everyone.

So glad I read the reviews on this place. Wont be coming here. Just an update. I tried to take out a loan on a guitar effects pedal and was severely insulted by a lowballed price. If youre a musician and respect your gear dont come here. This place is practically a of den of thieves.
