We are a regular customer of Best Buys and I like this store because its close wt everything. Last night we try to return the smart Tv but unfortunately forgot the cable of the TV . The lady agent told me that we cant do the return if everything wasnt there which I understand and ask if we could talk to the manager because they have 15 days return policy but thats the last day already and we live 25 mins away it was between 7:30pm-7:45pm . We wanted to speak to him if we could do the return for now and my husband will bring the cable Tomorrow since we dont need that anyway just for us not to bring back the tV with us .We waited to the manager hoping he will be considarate enough with our simple request bec my 2 kids was waiting in the car wt my mom . And Me & my husband standing close to the counter because the lady agent strangling to removed the TV out of the box to check if everything was there , so we told her if we could help her which we did !!! thats why we were closed to the counter . Then the manager OMAR came without even understanding are simple request and listening to us He was very rude & arrogant told as off to stand outside the counter and if not he will call security . We Got so surprised about his attitude telling us off like that ...Excused me my husband said ! So you cant do anything about it? Omar said arrogantly No , then my husband said calmly can we leave the TV for a while we will get the cable in the house and we will be back , Again Omar arrogantly respond you get the whole Tv Box out of if you will leave ,,,Then I said can you hold on for the TV for now if thats your policy I will let my husband go home and get it .I just need to get my kids in the car ,I will stay in the store till my husband will be back OMAR just walk away and go . The lady agent was very nice to let me get my kids then when I got My kids we came back to the store and used the restroom but my husband went back and told me we just get the TvBox and return it to the Best Buy near are place for us not to deal with OMAR because the last thing we want is to have a hastle like that .where in we just want to make the return quickly and then go.I showed again the receipt to the lady agent to check if last night was the 15 day she said it will be until Tom maam. So we decided to take the TV Box and told the lady sorry for the trouble ...And asked her if Omar was the only manager on duty the agent said theres another one .I told her he shouldnt be a manager he wasnt even helpful , trying to scared us and didnt explain to us nicely the policy He was so arrogant .Thank you I said we will just return it near are place I said to avoid him we dont want to deal with him . Then on our way out my husband carrying the TV box and OMAR was blocking the way my husband said excused me so that he could pass then OMAR raised his voice to my husband and said what is your problem ?and said again Call security . I told my husband to go and ignore him then I told him What is your problem ? Call security for what for your attitude ? You shouldnt be a manager if your behavior is like that , I will complain to the corporate i said then he yell at me very arrogantly ,,, Go ahead ! Then we just left the store humilated and so disappointed . My mom & y 2kids Got scared of him . If thats the manager you have in the store I dont think you will keep your regular customer . I never seen a person as arrogant as he is . And he show off to everybody there that he was the manager but showing the power in a wrong way . A manager should be helpful & approachable. He didnt even know how to handle a simple situation like that and behaved that way . I never complain in my life but I think what we experienced there last night need to be addressed to the management for him to know what he was doing was not right .I will never let him do that to other customer thats why I didnt let this thing Go. I will fallow up with the corporate if they did something to this and if I came back in that store I dont want him to deal to us that way ever again .

Well I dont know about what its like "usually" but both times I was there, it was pretty nice. At least the Best Buy Mobile guys are nice. The first time I was looking for a new phone, and they helped me pick a nice phone within my price range AND exactly what I was looking for. The guy helping me( Matt) was really knowledgable, and had a clear answer to just about everything I had to ask. The few things he didnt know, he asked his co-workers, who he obviously had a great relationship with, and he reciprocated by helping them out as well. They chatted amicably without being rude, stopping whenever assistance was needed. After I had decided on my phone, he told me about the warranty, the guaranteed buyback program, the black tie geek squad insurance, and didnt pressure me at all. Not only that, but he tolerated my VERY VERY Asian father, who can be the dumbest person ever, repeating questions OVER AND OVER AGAIN. Anyways, I was back just A couple days ago, since the volume rockers on my phone came off. I went over there to get it fixed, they had to send it off. Matt asked me how I was doing, how I liked the phone, and then asked me what the problem was. I explained the situation and he told me that I might not get my phone back, so he helped me synchronize as much data as possible. I just got a call from them today, telling me my phone is ready for pickup. Awaiting another instance of great service and happy atmosphere at Best Buys!

I always thought BestBuy was the classiest of them all.. until today (and I am hoping its just this one secluded experience and they are not on their way to terrible service). We saw a laptop deal online yesterday, wanted to pay online and pick at the local store. I called in to confirm they had one in stock before I hit the "submit order" button, they (the local store) said they had plenty. So I placed the order. Then I got the order received email saying I will receive a second pick up notification email shortly, which I did. So far, so good. Now in the morning, I have an email from the store staff saying that they dont have that laptop in stock anymore, with the usual apology. How is that possible? How can the website and store staff both say it is in stock, I place the order, and all of them disappear from the local store inventory in 45 minutes? I suspect foul play (based on my first conversation with the staff when they said they did have it in stock but I will have to pay the store price and not the online price.. I told them that the website allows me to buy online and pick it up in the store.. upon which they said ok go ahead and place the order)... but dont know what to believe.
