"Personal Training" is a fraud. Offered a complimentary "$49" personal training devoted to Windows 8.1, I entered the store 5 minutes before my appointment but could not get any attention from the 4 staff on the floor. Finally I interrupted one to ask where to report for my scheduled personal training and was shown a bench to sit on with the promised "someone will be right over." 10 minutes later I intercepted someone entering the floor from the back and asked about my training which seemed to startle her. She brought me a cup of tea and promised to send someone over. The young man who came over showed little more knowledge of Windows 8.1 than I have, intimated that he did not like it, and proceeded to freeze my touch screen. After 5 minutes trying to unfreeze it, he called someone else over who fixed it by rebooting the computer. My inquiries regarding adjusting the touch pad and organizing photos were beyond the knowledge base of my "trainer." This was a waste of my time which I regretted. I have not received any follow up from the store, so I am posting my review here.

The store was a great experience! I purchased a laptop running Windows 8 and plan to take advantage of the FREE Win 10 upgrade. An Apple user for years, Im not used to free anything. In fact, Im now in reverse sticker shock. I noted someone mentioned the store looks suspiciously like the Apple store. Actually it does until you take a look at your sales receipt on the way out of the Microsoft store. In comparison, Im still amazed at how little it cost and how much I recieved. I upgraded the Acer laptop a couple days later with a one terabyte SSD that cost considerably less than $400 and purchased some application software online. My personal experience is that everything you buy simply cost a lot less when you are running a Microsoft OS. Should have made this change years ago.

Just went from 2star to 1star. Reason is the warranties are complete ripoffs. Dramatically worse than Dell or SquareTrade. Bordering (or more than that) on fraud. If you have a problem they insist you sign an agreement giving up all of your rights to your own computer for 6 weeks. This is while they look at it. Worse thing is the problem i had was mysteriously right when windows 10 forced an unauthorized update on my computer. ---- So sad tbis is where Microsoft is at. Pitiful phone display with old models no one is looking at. Bunch of all the same computers. Only customers are the poor suckers who dont realize how much time theyll waste with Windows 10 (that was me). Then the bigger suckers looking at the Surface laptops - kinda like buying a gm car in the 80s.

This store has it together. I was greeted by Jordan and after about 15 minutes I knew he knew what he was talking about. He eased my fears regarding Windows 8 and went out the next day and bought a new computer. I have gone into the store two times after that and each time have found that everyone was helpful and knew what they were talking about. Microsoft should have done something like this years ago.

I stopped in last night needing some help with my 2 year old mouse. I got speedy and thorough service diagnosing what was going on. While Im sad my mouse is dead, at least I know that it didnt work on the other laptops the tech tested it on.

People can say what they want about microsoft but they treat you like your in first class here. They swaped out my sp4 with zero fuss. Let me use their tools to get my stuff put onto the new sp4 and they gave me refreshments...
