Came to the store on Tuesday night just to get a quick information about Dyson vacuum and to my surprise there were only two people @ the Pacific Appliances desk to help any and every customer who needed to be helped, no matter if you went there to buy an item or just, like myself, want to get some information about a product. Ten minutes after my arrival the sales crew were still caring for the same customers (I have to hand it to them that it appeared they were doing a good job) and in front of me there were two other customers also waiting for their turn to be care for. Tried ask the information I needed to others Best Buy employees to no avail, their answers were the same : I had to wait for the Pacific Appliance personal to get my simple question answered. I decided to leave the store, after all it appeared they did not need my business, but decided to walk by the computer section, I am also in the process of getting a new one, when I found two employees having a very hard time trying to explain to a customer how a particular equipment works and guess what they couldnt and so their customer, like myself, left the store for good.

The screwed me every single way on my laptop repair. They over charged me, didnt return my calls. The geek squad usually doesnt answer the phone, I had to call the other Best Buy, to call this one, so they would call me back. They said the would give me a refund but didnt. They said the would fix my computer but never did. I droped of my computer, and they said it would take 3-5 days. 5 weeks later, I had to go back there 4 times, and my computer was still not fixed. There were no surprises in the repair, just that they are that incompetant. Whatever you do, dont go here. You have been warned.

Lame and illegal returns. Charge $35 restock fee for phones without prior warning. Needs be posted on register and receipt. Class action lawsuit. Also refuse to allow return of item within 15 days for doing " too many returns". Again this is without warning. How many returns is too much? Returning a broken phone, exchanging for more expensive one, coming in for price match is not too many returns. They will lose business for this. They should warn at register before purchase that you cannot return item. I advise all to buy in cash to ease returns. They only track you via credit/debit cards

I dont shop here much, but the store is your typical large Best Buy retail store. I have mostly done pick ups, and the experience has been quick, get in, and get out. The lines are short, so dont expect a long wait. They always have specials so check online or in the app to see if they have something you need before coming into the store. One great thing that made me start to like Best Buy is the fact that they offer price matching, even to online retailers such as Amazon (though Im sure its only for those sold by Amazon, and not 3rd party), so you dont have to worry about high prices.

I always come here with my boyfriend when hes searching for the latest consoles or video games. I thoroughly enjoy when the front staff greet customers as they enter or exit Best Buy. I wish more businesses did that. Its nice to know that they acknowledge my presence as a customer. Every time I come here to roam around the store or specifically searching for an item, the staff (on the floor) is always eager to help. Those who work at Customer Service or other counters arent as helpful, which is unusual.

Its a standard Best Buy, but a lot of the products that are available to try arent connected or are damaged and the bathrooms are absolutely horrible. The manager inspection list in the bathroom is all filled out, but I dont know how they could ever sign it saying it passes inspection when it looks that horrible! My husband used the mens and said that it was much worse. Make sure you make a bathroom stop elsewhere before you come here or you will be scarred...

Terrible customer service. You try to ask a store employee a question and they act like your are interrupting them. They would rather chat with their coworkers and stare at their phones then help you find a product. And the install dept for car stereo is a joke. They sell you the wrong parts, they take 3hrs instead of 1hr as quoted, and they make you wait in the cold or in the store. And they are rude!

The staff simply couldnt input the correct information. For simple things like trade-in and check out, they repeatedly put in wrong information even after I gave them my drivers license. At the end, my name is still wrong and they start telling me they cant change it without me personally calling the corporate number.. not to mention the "buy or go away attitude"in Apple section.

these guys suck. im waiting for help at opening time 4 people standing around a computer looking at me. I paid 40 bucks in uber to bring my desktop to get drivers installed, expressed how important it was they are all there because of the uber...assured me they are and go figure they arent. and they told me I can pay another 40 to reinstall them...real nice

Havent had a bad experience here. Sometimes the staff may not know the answers to questions, but find a department manager if you need to. Prefer this Best Buy in the Daly City/Colma/San Mateo area. I even prefer this location to the Harrison St. location in San Francisco.

Even though I hate Best Buy, because of their world famous lack of service, there are times when you need to visit. Id rather go to the one in SF, the store is bigger so atleast you can find what youre actually looking for.

I window shop here. The prices are expensive but once in a while there are movies on sale for a great price. The front parking lot gets filled pretty easily on weekends, but they do have a rooftop lot.

The staff are really friendly, they have good knowledge on there products. I can specifically say about the TVs. The personnel could explain clearly the difference between different models, brands, etc
