This place is awesome. If you dont think you have a reason to go here, make up an excuse. Oleg is very friendly and really fun to talk to. This is the kind of shop that really feels like its part of a neighborhood. Actually, hes better than friendly. I went in looking for a couple of cheap coins for my nephews school project, and he said, "School project? Take these!? He handed me a fistfull of coins from around the world and said, "Ill donate these for a kids education!" I was really taken aback by his generosity. I kept trying to pay him, and he wouldnt have it! The couple of cases up front in his shop are chock full of really interesting little baubles. I look forward to going in another time and really checking out his wares.

Falsely advertised as coin buyer. He is only interested in melt value. I had a 300 dollar Lincon penny and he said, and Im quoting, "I dont know much about anything not silver or gold". He didnt know about coins. The appraisal was not even an appraisal. He also quoted us minimum 40% under the rate of silver and was rude when confronted. To give example, .999 silver dollar and half dollar commemorative liberty. Take out what it is. 1.5oz is not 15 dollars. Overall, he also tried to tell us we didnt have much and to go sell online. Told us no other dealer would pay for these coins. Oh THATS REALLY FUNNY BECAUSE WE WENT A FEW BLOCKS DOWN AND MADE THOUSANDS ..... whatever.

I recently decided to start purchasing silver coins as an addition to my investment portfolio. I went to several local pawn shops and was absolutely unimpressed with what they had to offer. I stumbled upon Olegs shop while doing a search for local coin dealers and was impressed by his 100% positive rating. I decided to give his shop a try and I am glad I did. He is quick to provide helpful advice and his prices are extremely reasonable. I have been back to the store several times after that inital visit and have always found something to add to my collection. Whether you are buying or selling, I recommend Olegs shop be the first place you visit.

My husband and I went there and the guy was very nice. He seemed very honest and knew what he was talking about. We sold him some coins and left with cash in hand. One thing I didnt like was that we had many different items and he just put numbers in his calculator without showing us he was adding in for each item...which I am sure he didnt. However, we saved some coins and went to another shop on another day and found out that this guy took advantage of us and the reason he kept trying to assure us he was honest was because he wasnt. Check around and dont trust this guy just cause he is nice and tells you can trust him.

After visiting many jewelry buyers in the Sacramento area in attempt to sell my old wedding ring we came across this little gem of a store. Although we did not end up selling to this store the owner is probably one of the most honest and helpful people I have come across. He even went above and beyond to point us in the right direction so I would get the most money for my ring. And he was right... I went directly to where he told us and got above asking price for my ring. Honest, dependable people are hide to find these days. Quality customer service and honest! We will be sure to come back in the future!!!

I also walked into this store and all other gold buying stores in Sacramento and I disagree with this rating ! I was looking for the best price I could receive for my gold and coins so I checked them all out The only place I received a detailed account of how much I was going to get for my gold and coins plus Hugs and Kisses! was Landpark Gold and Silver on Freeport the amount I received was almost double the price Riverside and all others offered me."Plus" I understood how they arrived at the amount. AND I got hugs and kisses and complete respect I will and "Have" went back to Landpark Gold and Silver

I did not enjoy my experience at this business. I asked what he bought one ounce gold coins for and he did not answer me interrupted me and he wanted to see my coins. I went back with the coins and I knew what the current spot gold price was. He offered me a very low price and I said thanks I will think about it. He then looked the coins over again said negative things about my coins and offered me more money which was still low compared to other coin dealers. This to me is dishonesty. I will not deal with his. Excelsier coins on Arden way pays spot price and is very fair so I will go back to him.

I went to this coin shop looking for some specific international coins for a school project and I was not able to find them here, but the owner was amazing! He called so many other coin shops around town asking if they had the coins I needed. Sadly, they did not, but that is what happens when you do things last minute. I was extremely amazed by the owner’s willingness to help me, just like that without even knowing me! Truly an amazing human being! If you ever need anything coin related definitely, come to this shop, amazingly kind and generous person! Best service guaranteed! A++++++++++++++++

This is the absolute BEST place to sell gold, silver and coins!!! Ive been to several other places and have never received the kind of care and attention that Oleg will give you. Plus the prices are the best you can get, Oleg is very fair and cares for his repeat customers! I wish I had taken all of my gold and silver here first, instead of getting ripped off! He will take his time with you, explain anything you dont understand and has amazing knowledge of old coins. I went to Riverside Coins to sell some silver Id had for years. Oleg, the owner, greeted me at the door and took the time to explain to me the value of all my coins, all the prices were what I was expecting after doing my own online research. He even took the time to look over the coins I didnt want to sell and just wanted some information on, who does that for free anymore? The store was very bright, and clean, and I didnt feel pressured to buy or sell anything. I got a great price on my silver and will definitely come back and recommend Riverside Coins & Gold to friends.

Just finished selling some old jewelry and am very satisfied with my experience. I heard about this business from a friend who also had a positive experience. The owner was thorough and fair purchasing both the gold pieces and costume/custom jewelry with a cash offer. While I was waiting, he purchased coins from another customer and took the time to examine each item for possible rare and hard to find coins to offer true value. This level of integrity is commendable. I will return if the opportunity arrives and recommend this business to others.
