I was asked by the seamstress to give a review of my visit so hear goes. This is my second time using Miosa Bridal and I can say I disliked my second experience. I had Miosa Bridal do the alterations for my first bridal gown about 10 years ago and loved the experience. The owner was wonderful and made the entire experience a joy. This time I went for an appointment to have my second bridal gown altered, to pick out hair accessories, and to pick bridesmaids gowns. I was scheduled with Evelia for my alterations and she was at first very curt but I got used to her by the end of my appointment as she became comfortable with us. She seemed to know what she was doing and that made me more comfortable. I would give her a 4 star! The store and the rest of the staff I give a 1 star to! The store was very busy that day and had several brides there and the staff was very rushed and not friendly. The young woman that was supposed to assist me in picking out hair accessories kept disappearing and I had to keep trying to find her and at one point we just started to help ourselves because we were not getting much service. Then when it was time to look at bridesmaids gowns the young woman just sat at her desk and was totally useless! I was so disgusted at that point that I just scheduled my next alteration appointment and left without purchasing bridesmaids gowns or hair accessories. I went to another shop and had such great service that I was able to order all my bridesmaids dresses and hair accessories and for a better price! The price was not the issue though it was the lack of service at Miosa that is why I rated it so. Its really a shame that this business has grown so much that is customer service is completely gone. With my first experience 10 year ago I would of referred anyone to this place but now I would never refer anyone. And in fact I feel uneasy about how they will do my alterations and how my dress will look this time. If I had the chance without causing so much friction that I would prefer to go back get my bridal gown and have the alterations done at the second store I visited after my appointment with Miosa Bridal. Its really a heart brake because I loved this store, the owner was so nice and attentive during my visits 10 years ago and now it is not even the same store. I even visited it about 3 years ago too and the service then was far superior then, then it is now. Really a shame!

The staff at Miosa Couture were AMAZING! My fiancé and I got engaged on a friday on the east coast. I flew in on Sunday and drove 2 hours to visit this shop on Tuesday over my christmas break. Annie helped me and she was FANTASTIC!!!! After we were pretty sure I had found "the one" she did everything possible to help me feel confident about my choice by trying to beat the dress I picked. When it couldnt be beat, I was still a little bit nervous about making the big decision so I had them take down all my information and I told Annie I would call after I slept on it to make sure I was still in love with the dress the next day. I loved the dress and made the final order on Friday. Because my dress was (a certain brand name) it was under the priority program and was in stock. The dress was shipped the next monday (week of christmas) and then arrived at Miosa on FRIDAY! I drove to the shop monday morning and tried on my dress and it fit PERFECTLY! Annie helped me and so did Kristen - they were both fantastic and helped me out so much! I did not need any alterations but I did want to restructure one of the features on the dress and add cups. The seamstress came up and pinned it and then told me because I was living on the east coast and was in town just for the day she could finish it in a few HOURS!!!! My family and I left and explored downtown Sacramento and in about 3 hours Kristen called us and the dress was ready for my second (and FINAL fitting). I tried it on again and it was perfect! Since I live on the east coast (and am getting married on the east coast), the shop is going to ship me the dress when it is closer to my wedding! I also custom designed my vail to be the exact length and style that I wanted. I was soooo pleased with the service of all the staff at Miosa Couture! I HIGHLY recommend every bride to this boutique. I even recommend all my friends on the east coast and tell them all about this shop just incase they find themselves in California before they buy their dress.

STAY AWAY AND DONT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO THESE PEOPLE. Once they get a hold of your money, they will treat you like dirt and give you the worst customer service imaginable not to mention lying about delivery dates. My Fiancee bought a Wedding dress, it came later than the date promised. She then got an appointment to try on the dress at 1 PM and she was sitting there for 45 min before she got any help. Every time she was given attitude by the low life employees who will make your whole experience a nightmare. She ordered a Veil thru their store on late April and she was assured by the "employee" that it will get to their store around June 20th. The veil showed up on July 11th, A WEEK !!!! before the wedding and nobody at the store cared to call my fiancee to let her know that her veil was there. The veil didnt look like the picture and looked cheap so they refused to return it even though we had no choice but to purchase another one from them at over $600!!!!.(they took full advantage knowing that its only a week to the wedding). The owner "Michael is as dishonest as they come and assured me when I went there personally that he will have it returned to the company since it did not come on time . He Ignored my call 2 days later and emailed me instead that he would not return it (Typical Crook). He cheated us of hard earned money (We spent over $3,300 for a dress, 2 veils and expensive alterations). STAY AWAY AND DONT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO THESE PEOPLE.

I had the best experience at Miosa. Miosa was the first place I tried on dresses and I am so happy that it was. My bridal consultant was Rachael and she was amazing. I had an idea as to what I wanted to try on before my appointment and had a couple of pictures of some dresses I found from designers they carried. One of the dresses was out of my budget and Rachael informed me of this and then proceeded to grab a dress that was VERY similar and half the price. I appreciated this so much because another bridal salon in the area was putting me in dresses over my budget even though they knew what my budget was. After trying on all the dresses there was one dress that I LOVED (it was one of the ones I found before coming in) but I told myself I was going to go to all my appointments that day and if there was one dress I couldnt stop thinking about then I would go back and try it on again. Rachael never pushed me to make a decision that day and she even wrote down what everything was going to cost. Miosa also will take 10% off if you pay cash/debit. Pretty cool! Well I went to the other stores and tried on numerous dresses but nothing measured up to "the one." I went back to Miosa the next weekend and tried on the dress again and loved it even more! After watching so many episodes of Say Yes to the Dress, it was finally my turn to say YES! Thank you Miosa and especially Rachael for giving me such unforgettable experience! Cant wait for my big day :)
