I just bought a minivan from Hoffman Auto Group, which is conveniently located in Sacramento off Business Route 80 and the Auburn/Marconi Exit. I am enthusiastically pleased with my experience as a whole, to say the least. Im still in the honeymoon phase with my new-to-me vehicle, but my time spent shopping there was a positive one and Im confident I made a good choice. George was the perfect help in my car buying experience. He is informative, honest, thorough and committed to quality product and customer service. Hes more a family man than a sales man, and throughout the whole process, was patient with my loud 1 and 5 year olds. At one point, he even told me to hang up with the insurance company and go ahead and take care of the baby...he could wait. Mind you, this was after-hours and he still made the time. Anyway... I am a self employed first time buyer with barely any credit history, and proof of only a portion of my income. George spent his entire day, while I was working at home, making sure I got the price and payment I wanted. He worked diligently to get my interest rate down from 21+% to 14.5%!!! He also called the bank back and made sure they financed me for the 3rd party warranty, which is essential to have when buying any used vehicle from anywhere. George also gave me tips on how to strengthen my credit and refinance after 6 months to make my interest rate lower. The minivan I got is an 05 Toyota Sienna with low miles, lengthy carfax to show the one previous owners meticulous maintenence, and it is clean and runs very nicely. There were a few cosmetic issues with the interior that I noticed upon my personal preference purchase inspection. One was adressed on the spot and the other repair is pending an order shipment. I trust their word is good, and plan to return next week for a quick fix (dont worry guys, well keep my kids strapped in their car seats haha). My only bummer l surprise so far is that the DVD player ended up not working after being told it did. But, it wasnt their vehicle, so i doubt they had reason to pop in a mickey mouse dvd to check it out. To their credit, it did seem like it would work. Woops! There is more i could say, but if you are in the market for a *new* used car go ahead and make a visit for yourself! Thanks, George! From bossy Kellie, and her loud family.

I originally purchased a 2007 Ford Expedition from Hoffman Auto Group in November 2015. I had to immediately get gas as the fuel light came on as I was driving home. Once I got gas the car would not start again. Ugh! Luckily I got a jump and it seemed it was just needing a battery. Now the truck is basically dead, with less than 2800 miles put on the vehicle, and needing a repair that will cost thousands and I have already spent over $1100. When I originally bought the vehicle I asked for a warranty but was told that Westlake Financial does not finance warranties and I would need to pay cash for the warranty. Obviously after putting $3k down I did not have cash for a warranty. In light of the mechanical issue I called Westlake to find out if what I was told was true and was informed it absolutely was not true! In addition I had previously asked for the vehicle inspection report that they said they had when they checked out the vehicle. I was told they "archived" the files and they would call me when they got the file backing the office. I never heard back from them. As of this post, I have been told that "management" will call me sometime Monday but right now they are not offering any sort of resolution. Buyer beware!! I feel that I was totally mislead by this company and that they misrepresented the finance company. I will update Monday as this progresses.

My family and I had the best experience at Hoffman Auto Group on 09/11/2016 315 pm, we came in looking for a vehicle for our daughter and her family, we had the pleasure of speaking to Kelly, he was very helpful and offered us water while we waited, then we met a very kind gentleman named Ross, he explained everything in detail, very patient and knowledgeable, he was able to get us approved right away, this was definitely a miracle from God, if your looking for a great deal, affordable and convenient, come down to Hoffmann Auto Group anytime, they are open Saturdays and Sundays until 500pm Monday thru Friday until 700pm, put your seat belt on and go for a test drive. I bought a 2011 Ford Escape from Hoffman Auto Group after seeing it listed on Cargurus. The car had the lowest mileage and was priced the best for any 2011 Ford Escape in the area. Ross was great. He let me check out the car, test drive it, and answered all my questions without being pushy or aggressive, which was important to me. Ross went above and beyond what was expected and required of him to make sure I was happy with my purchase. George took care of the financing and it was a very smooth process. I was in and out with my car in about 2.5hrs. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back for my next car purchase. These guys were great

THE BEST PURCHASING EXPERENCE IV HAD. Geroge and Russ really took there time insuring my wife and I got exactly what we needed. They stayed late to get the paperwork done and didnt try to rush us even though we held them up untill 10:00pm exploring differant options for us. My wife and I even made a special trip to her favorite bakery to pick them up a thank you gift after the car purchase.

My husband and I went to Hoffman to look at a truck and we were very pleased with the vehicle. The ad they posted on CL was every bit as nice in person as the pictures in the ad. George gave us exceptional service and was not pushy and was extremely respectful/helpful. Overall, I highly recommend Hoffman auto group for your next car purchase!

At least two of the google reviews of this company are phony. Richard Hoffman is the "son" of the owner, and Ross Hamad is related to the owner as well. Just like the phony reviews, this company is phony. Dont be surprised to find that when you drive off the lot, the car you thought was cherry turns out to be a lemon.

Very pleased with the service and professionalism of George and Ross at Hoffman. Went in to look at a truck and received great service from both of those gentlemen. They are very helpful and reasonable when it comes to finding a new vehicle. I highly recommend giving them a chance when looking for a new vehicle.

I was helped by Ross on 9/11/16. In my view he did an excellent job of explaining everything to me in detail. Experience overall was good. There was a small chip on the windshield and he offered to get it filled for me. So far in very happy with our purchase. We ended up purchasing a 03 Honda Pilot. Thanks Ross

If you buy from this lot, dont expect your car to last long. They advised me not to get the extended warranty. A few months later I need a couple thousand in repairs, but was told they could only help me if I had bought the warranty. They are dishonest. I highly dont recommend this car lot!
