The sales people were kind and helpful, but the overall experience was bad. I called 4 hours in advance to see a used 2013 Jeep Wrangler. When I arrived the car was dirty, not just some dust, but dirt everywhere. The front fender had been damaged, none of the hub cap covers matched. In the trunk of the vehicle, there was a live 4 gauge wire connected to the battery terminal from a removed aftermarket subwoofer. The underside of the Jeep was scratched and covered in surface rust. It wasnt structurally an issue, but I was taken aback. The rear axle and wheel wells had been spray painted black and the paint was chippping everywhere. Id never seen a used car at dealership is such bad aesthetic condition. This wasnt a new to stock vehicle, it had been onsite for months. Test drove the vehicle and established there werent any pressing mechanical issues. The Jeep needed a lot of cosmetic work. It was listed as low mileage, but it was obvious the vehicle had been driven hard off-road, so that mileage isnt highway or city. I told the sales guy the price was too high. He immediately started trying to work out financing, to get lower monthly payments. I couldnt keep him focused on the price. I kept hearing how much money the dealership had in the vehicle. I dont care. The vehicle ad was misleading and in the condition presented, it simply wasnt worth the asking price. After two trips to the manager, he came back, without changing the price, just playing with financing, sliding $8,000+ of Warranties, Insurances, and Paint Repair / Protectant in to the cost. They refused to budge on the price and their final offer was financed, $100/month more than buying a brand new 2017 from the dealer next door. The only explanation I can come up with is the manager, employee, or a friend of the dealer wants dibs on this vehicle before it goes back to auction at a *huge* loss so theyre intentionally sabotaging customers. I drove an hour and 15 minutes each way, just for this vehicle and am severely disappointed with my experience.

After about a months time worth of research I finally decided to purchase a new Camaro. I was a Ford man and my Mustang had served me well, but the Camaro simply brought more to the table. I stopped by several Chevrolet dealerships but this one was the only one that carried an Ashen Gray model and I was committed to buying this car. Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon ready to make a deal and was greeted by Tom. Test drove the car a bit, then ran over to the Ford dealership right next door just to be sure I was making the right decision. I wanted that Camaro. All that was left was the negotiating, oh boy! It was getting late and far too uncomfortable to be outside (105 or so). I decided to be direct with my negotiations and gave Tom a fair deal hoping to get this over with. His response was neither professional or courteous. Now being as I am rather young to be purchasing a new car (19), I was well aware of the possibility of me not being taken very seriously. To give a potential customer an ultimatum to take a deal or get out exhumed a degree of audacity entirely unbecoming of someone working in retail. I promptly left only to return a week later, pick out a salesman myself, make him the same offer, and drive out with my new car the very next day. I believe the salesmans name was Luis. Also, kudos to the finance manager for getting me a great interest rate!

Whatever you do, do not do business with Tracy Chevrolet. I live in TX and I attempted to buy a vehicle through their internet sales department. First, the salesman told me that everything on the truck worked as intended. Once it was delivered, the check engine light came on during my drive home. I took it in and it needs a new transmission. Funny coincidence how that transmission went out on my drive home. Second, and in my opinion even worse, once I completed the paperwork and sent them a check, I could not get any information out of anyone at Tracy Chevrolet. For example, what about a temporary registration sticker, no answer. Or, how about the title, no answer. Or, how many sets of keys was the (somewhat scary looking) delivery guy supposed to hand over, no answer. The point is, once they have their money, dont expect ANYTHING out of them. Not even an answer to the simplest of questions. And, that even goes as far as the title. Without the title, I am unable to register the vehicle in TX and that means its been sitting in my driveway for the last month. I am now going to have to go through the painful process of trying to return the vehicle and get my money back. I have purchased several vehicles online and I have never had such an unpleasant experience. Whatever you do, avoid this dealership at all costs.

Absolutely Wonderful Experience!!! I started off looking for a car on the internet, and made contact with Doug Wilson, the Internet Sales Manager at Tracy Chevrolet. He was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with. He didnt have the exact car and features I wanted, but was able to loacte one nearby and do an inventory trade with the other dealer. He gave me the price I wanted, let us go for a test drive ALONE (unheard of!!!), and was never pushy or high-pressure. Stacy in the finance department was likewise pleasant and non-pushy. She even helped me to get a rebate on the warranty that hadnt expired yet on my trade-in! The manager stopped by twice to personally thank us for our business. All in all a totally satisfying experience. I drove down from Sacramento to make the deal and am 100% glad that I did - the extra drive was well worth it. They detailed the car for us and filled the tank with gas. And while I wont be using the service department because it would be too far to drive, I would definately come back here to buy another car. A+++

Went to several dealerships in the area. The staff at Tracy Chevrolet was the most unfriendly of all three. A salesperson greeted me at the door and asked what I am looking for. I told him I was here with a family member he frowned, turned and walked off without saying another word. The young man I was with decided to purchase a car from Tracy Chevrolet. At the time of signing the paperwork he noticed the payments were higher than what he had calculated. After carefully going over all the documentation, he found that he was being charged for an extended warranty he had expressed earlier that he did not want. The financing person stormed out in a huff and treated us poorly after that. I give them three stars because he did find a good car at a fair price. Sidenote: the other two dealerships treated me like I was buying a car. They were consistently friendly, offered me water (it was a hot day), and answered questions about cars I was curious about. None of these things happened at Tracy Chevrolet.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at Tracy Chevrolet today. Just before driving the vehicle off the lot I was told I needed to meet with Stacy in finance, I was already pre-approved for lending, and ready to sign the purchase contract.Stacy was the rudest person I have ever had to deal with in a customer service position. She was very condescending and patronizing. She was very upset that I wanted to buy the vehicle with my own financing at the price offered and wasnt willing to spend an extra $5,000 on their warranties and added coverage. I was very disappointed in their management who allowed her to be rude to me and leave the dealership very upset, and disappointed that my amazing sales person Helen is now shorted a commission because of Stacy. Helen, if you ever go to another dealership, I would be happy to purchase a vehicle from you, but I cant bring myself to spend a dime at a dealership where Stacys actions are considered acceptable customer service.
