A nice variety of fabrics and tools for beginners and advanced seamsters, but somewhat selective. It makes for a unique collection of fine stock. Also, I was expressing how much I enjoyed their cloth decor when I realized that it was simply a bolt of pretty fabric they had arranged as decoration, inspiring. Always friendly and direct, dont go there to haggle over their already competitive prices, they are are always discounting things as can be seen throughout the store. They will even order some things by request. I always marvel that some folks walk in and ask for a discount on a a few yards from a new bolt of fabric right off the bat. Theyre pretty firm, all right. I always leave there with inspiration for a subsequent trip. I will definitely shop there again..

Understand if youre supporting or shopping at this store you are supporting a racist business and you approve of discriminatory actions against people of color. The amount of embarrassment and harassment both my co-workers, friends and I have received at this store on multiple occasions is just traumatizing, we refuse to support any business that encourage their employees to discriminate and harass loyal paying customers solely based off the color of their skin. I would hope there are some ppl here in Sacramento that disapproves of this behavior and will shop elsewhere where all customers are treated as equals.

I went in to purchase some stretchy fabric for a DIY project. The lady helped measure me to figure it how much fabric I would need and then further helped me figure out if I should use elastic or not based on how I was planning to wear it. She also have me additional tips on how to sew the fabric and what to do with my needle incase the thread skipped because of the type of fabric I was using. Im also a student at SCC and they give students 10% off as long as you have your student ID. I didnt know that!

The first reviewer must have cought them on a bad day...I just called, and they were very nice, even running to see if they had a particular fabric type that I wanted. I have been to this store before, and they have an impressive variety of fabrics...not so much for us quilters, but great for home decor, and making party dresses for granddaughters.

I travel to Sacramento to purchase fine fabrics for costumes, garments and gifts because Stockton is a one-fabric-store town and they have only one silk fabric and limited fine trims and fabrics. I always find what Im looking for at Hi-Fashion Fabrics and the prices are better than in Stockton.

Hi, all- Hi Fashion Fabrics treated me just right! They have tons of stuff. They are an independent business. For many people, its important to shop there because bigger businesses hurt competition. The store had just what I wanted, and they were very friendly. I recommend them! -Tom McElheney

Its close to my house and I am without a car for the moment. Other than that the prices are expensive and the staff are snobby / boarderline rude. I deal with it because its the only fabric store in sacramento that is not a corporate chain that sells such a big variety of fabrics and laces.

I really like hi-fashion fabrics. they have a great selection of materials and notions without too much of the home kitch stuff that they have at places like joanns (which i personally find obnoxious in a fabric store). Ive never had bad service, but i guess theres always exceptions.

Great little hole in the wall shop. Its close to home, so we often head here first when we need something we think theyll have. Not as big or varied as Joanns, but a nice old local business I love giving my money to. No frills, just fabric and notions. LOVE this place.

There is a lot of fabric and supplies, but the store doesnt seem to have a lot in the way of assistance when it comes to searching for a specific fabric.

Its got everything you want. photographers dont pay full price for back drops, make your own and make your own scrims, yhey have the fabric!

It says they open at 9:30... I got there and they werent open no one was there till after 10. Once inside they were very helpful though.

Great prices yes ( lots of costume or older Fabrics)but where do you park I circled the block 6 times ;(

This place is great they have lots of verity on fabrics. Only down side is they are a little expensive.
