Today I walked into this Verizon store, into a conversation between a customer and the only sales rep in the store. Their conversation went on for about 10 minutes before my presence was acknowledged- and even then, it was the fellow customer that spoke to me while the Verizon rep went into the back. After 10 more minutes of fiddling with display phones, the Verizon rep finally said to me, "What do you need." I laughed at the extent of our first interaction and advised him I was looking to purchase a new phone. The rep then decided to help both myself, and the first customer at the same time. The rep asked for my phone number and security password, then he looked at me and said, "But youre not even eligible for an upgrade." This took me by surprise because this was beside the point, I was still there to purchase a new phone. Still, I continued my conversation with this Verizon rep Brian, and asked him questions about the plan I was currently on, as my once $80 phone bill has recently been $120. I had asked him if there was phone insurance applied to my account in case my phone had sustained any damage and he chuckled and stated, "Even with the insurance, it wont get you a new phone." At this point I was completely puzzled by the mental incompetency of this rep, and I questioned how this conversation had even got to this point. I smiled at Brian and walked out of the store. I realize this store is placed in the middle of Rancho Cordova, I guess I had just acquired respect for Verizon and the professionalism I have usually encountered. I, myself, am a customer service supervisor and I would be 100% mortified to think that one of my representatives had delivered this type of service to an account holder. Needless to say, for the first time since 2003, I will not be renewing my contract with Verizon.

If I could give 0 stars I would. First of all, this store is not an official Verizon Wireless, it is an authorized retailer, so everything they do is on an entirely different system than Verizons. So if you have any issues, it makes it that much more difficult to resolve. 2nd, I went in for an upgrade, hoping to pay a reduced price for an upgraded phone. Being helped by the store manager, I thought I had gotten a great deal when I left the store, later to find out I had a higher monthly bill and a phone I would have to eventually pay full price for. I was not explained in full what I had actually been signed up for. On top of that, I was sold a "portable" wireless charger that turned out not to be portable at all. And on top of that, I had handed my SD card to the manager and he disappeared in the back room with it and handed it back to me. Little did I know, he had wiped it clean because I took it home and plugged it in to my laptop and all the SD card was empty. I had several private photos on it. Im am extremely dissatisfied, not with Verizon, but with the service I received at this location. I recommend going to an actual Verizon store. They arent swindlers there.

Very unprofessional. Avoid sale person named "Melissa." I spent about a hour with her, and ordered galaxy s7 edge, and she told me to call me as soon as phone comes in. Ive waited about 3 weeks, still no call from them, stopped by the store and asked about my phone status. They told me if sale person did not call you, then phone is not in yet." waited another 2 weeks, still no calls from my sales rep. I stopped by the store again and asked. They told me again, if sales person did not call you, then phone is not in yet. Thus, I told them I wanted to cancel my order, and they told me that phone has to arrive, then they can give me a refund, and they promised to call me as soon as the phone comes in. I waited another 3 weeks, still no call from them, thus I paid another visit to the store, and asked about my refund. They told me " we have phone. Do you still it want it?" Wow!! I am just speechless!!!

Terrible experience, the sales person working was terrible!! Dont know her name but she was a brunette latin lady, tryed to charge me to pay my bill in cash and told me it was something normal. Also had a credit on my account that she couldnt see. I decided to take my money and go else where. The attitude was out of this world that is the reason why Im taking time out of my day to say, Verizon should reconsider who they authorize to sell their products. Dont respond with some email address that I should send this info too. Already took enough time out of my life with nonsense.

Poor customer service, I was just there to buy a Verizon brand wireless charger. I stood there for 10 Minutes with no acknowledgement that I was there. Finally when I was helped I was informed that they were out of stock. They could have easily asked me when I had arrived what I was there for but didnt so my time was wasted. Thanks Verizon for not focusing on unrivaled customer service. HAVE RECENTLY SWITCHED TO TMOBILE

The worst experience in my life... the Seler Melissa provided false information a year ago and now the supervisor is trying to " fix" ... he just doesnt do anything.. he promised and almost sword..and its been like that for the past 5 months.. ... I will have to take everything to court.... Im way to tired to listen another story how and when is going to be maybe fixed...

The store is now under new ownership and the new staff is AMAZING! They are extremely friendly and very informative. With the new team in there, I recommend this store as the local go-to Verizon store! The new owners are going to be re-modeling the store soon.

If I could do no stars I would. Showed up to store at opening and no one showed up to open the store. Other customers were equally upset amd left. No other store open for another hour. Very frustrating!! Called Verizon customer service to report the store.
