From Yelp: I gave this store and staff 1 star, simply because you cant give em a zero. I couldnt be any more disgusted with the Customer Service at this location. If there was a way to take away stars, Id do it here. We ordered the "chair and a half" + ottoman on April 7th, told it would take 6-8 weeks for "custom fabric" in Arkansas. We had to make inquiries; there were never any status calls or updates from them. 9 weeks later, they finally called to tell us that the factory installed the wrong material on the sofa, didnt match the ottoman and "what do we want to do?". Our response was "fix it then, youve already got our deposit". Evidently, "expedite", Arkansas and La-Z-Boy dont mix. Its now July 13th (almost 4 months) and we just got a call from them. We can either come pick it up next week, or theyll deliver to us, but we need to pay the balance in advance. After all the screw-ups, before they load half a sofa and an ottoman on a truck and drive a whooping 18 miles, we need to fork over the money, product sight-unseen. Not. Considering it takes approx. 3.5 months to build and deliver a Rolls Royce Phantom, one would think a sofa and ottoman would take less time. Considering La-Z-Boy screwed the order up to begin with, they should have done everything humanly possible to make sure the customer was happy. Never any apology, offer to take something off the price, nada. Apparently Chris D. (who, BTW folks, seems to be a professional reviewer) is the only one who receives superior Customer Service at this store (and everywhere he goes!). I spoke to JoAnn once; she sounded like she was in a big hurry to get to the bar at the local bowling alley and couldnt be bothered. Maybe she was meeting Chris .... Keep the customer informed? Yeah, right. Quality craftsmanship? Bologna. Delivered in 6 weeks? Hardly. Made in Redlands, CA? Not this sofa. Well never buy a piece of furniture from this location again, nor will we recommend this store, staff or products to anyone.

HORRIBLE!!! I cant agree more with the previous review. It kills me to give these guys even a one star rating. Customer service here is terrible. Especially once they get your money. I ordered a left facing sectional couch from them and they sent me a right facing one, which doesnt properly fit into my living room. Upon contacting the store, the manager JoAnn Davis blamed us for giving them the wrong order, even though we explicitly stated the type of couch we needed. She then told us we either have to suck it up and keep the couch we received or wait another 8-10 weeks to get the one we originally ordered. She made absolutely no attempts to rectify the situation or take any responsibility. Instead she found it easier to blame the customers. Upon confronting JoAnn at the store, she said that she will not discuss the subject any further, turned her back to us and walked off to tend to other potential customers. After much heated argument with her staff, I managed to get a temporary couch loaned to me, while I wait for my order. This store is ruining the La Z Boy company name. If you really want to buy these products go somewhere else. ANYWHERE else!!! These guys dont value their customers at all, not to mention their lack of professionalism and blatant rude and aloof demeanor. Not to mention that I had to take work off to receive the delivery, which was scheduled at 3 pm. After a whole day of waiting, at 6 pm they notified me that the couch will be delivered after 9 pm or potentially the next day. What a God awful experience.

Disgust and disappointment. I USED to have high regards for Lazy Boy. I used to think their brand is synonymous to quality and excellent service. WELL, THERES NO BETTER WAY TO PROVE MY BELIEF WRONG THAN BY EXPERIENCING THE POOR QUALITY AND POOR SERVICE MYSELF.I ordered a Collins sofa and it came with 2 legs missing the leg protector. Whats worst is there were screws protruding from one of the leg that scratched my brand new hardwood floor. When I called customer service I was passed on to different departments each one saying it should be this stores responsibility to "fix" the problem. JoAnne, the manager of Concord Lazy Boy emailed back (in a very cold, UNAPOLOGETIC manner) that the sofa will be replaced. It was replaced (mind you one of the sofas sitting couch was darker than the rest of the couch. Didnt complain anymore cause it is very exhausting to keep complaining on poor quality). She also said that she emailed the pictures I sent to the delivery manager. When I followed up about the status, there was no response. Really, this is the way a MANAGER is suppose to act and respond? I am not surprised though. I left a message on the GENERAL Managers voice mail and didnt get a reply either. This "I dont care" attitude stems from the top. WE have decided to leave the scratch alone. It will be a very interesting conversation topic with our guests in our brand new home. That way I can spread the "news" about Lazy Boys service.

very friendly, got a new chair, though getting that chair to this location is $50+, only way to get out of paying that is to drive all the way to San Jose. also they dont seem to check the furniture before giving it to you when they get their deliveries. the first chair we were given was broken so we had to return that one and then wait an entire WEEK for a new one with nothing for the inconvience, not even a Im so sorry this happened. getting deliveries only one day a week is not fair to the people who this happens to. luckily nothing was wrong with this new chair and we absolutely love it. though it would have been nice if they could help getting the chair into your car which they DO NOT do. they wont even touch your chair or whatever it is being gotten.

Last year, in January, the sectional we ordered arrived. There were issues with the padding, the recliner and the section latch was assembled incorrectly and would not attach. A service person came out right away and made a report. Although we called and emailed the service department many times, nothing has been done. The sales person wanted nothing to do with it once it was delivered. The service department made many excuses and the bottom line is that nothing has been done to remedy the situation for over a year. As far as we are concerned, Lazyboy does not practice what they advertise.

We used to love their stuff. We bought a couch 15 years ago that is still going strong. Well built, good leather. We bought a chair about 6 years ago, and the fabric wore out. We replaced it this year with 2 chairs that just arent up to the old standard. The leathers thin, the fabric is cheap,b and they both creak when they rock. So we wont be back. To top it all off, there was a sales woman there we really liked who was apparently fired, and replaced with a used car salesman type. Too bad.

Why hasnt anyone invented negative stars yet?! My husband and I went in and were greeted by a nice guy...but then the ugly reared her face. We were literally told " we are closed and are locking the doors" nothing else. This woman didnt ask us if we need any assistance, have any questions- NOTHING. Basically, she was more worried about closing the store than helping us. This place is a joke. Dont waste your money here- they dont care anyways.
