This is a terrific store! They treat their customers with courtesy and give excellent above-and-beyond customer service. I went in about a week ago to find a bed. I found what I thought would work for me and made the purchase. The store owner, Kevin, described what lines they carried, let me try a few out, and I picked one. He came with a helper a few days later at the precise time he said he would, delivered the bed, set it up, and removed all plastic covering and other debris when he departed. Unfortunately for me, I got very little rest that night. I had chosen the wrong bed for me and was quite distressed. I started calling around 7am the next morning, but the store doesnt open til 10am. The stores voice mail was full and I was unable to leave a message. To my astonishment, Kevin called me about an hour later on his way into the store, wondering why I had called. (really? how often does that happen I ask...ever??) I explained my predicament and he told me about my options. I chose to switch out the mattress for one not quite so firm (it caused a lot of problems due to health issues) and he did not hassle me, but delivered it tonight and took the original bed away, no problem. I LOVE THIS BED! I know I will get many nights of restful sleep on it and cannot express enough appreciation for the professionalism Kevin showed me. He kept his focus on keeping his customers happy and satisfied, not on how to continually increase his revenue stream. I cannot begin to give the respect and accolades he deserves for how he conducts business. Their focus is on keeping their customers happy with their products and service. I believe he is honest in his dealings and think anyone interested should at least give Sleep Firm a try. I had a wonderful experience!

The absolute best mattress shopping experience Ive ever had! I have a very bad back, so I was very picky about finding just the right mattress. I went to just about all of the other mattress stores, box stores and department stores in Puyallup, Sumner, Federal Way, Kent, Renton, Burien, and South Center, but when I finally found Kevin and The Sleep Firm my prayers were answered!! Kevin is extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of beds and sleeping. Like I said I was very picky. There wasnt a single question that he couldnt answer, and he was always very patient and pleasant. He knew what I needed and wanted better than I did myself. Those are signs of a great salesperson, and believe me, he is!! For the first time in my life I now have a bed that allows me to get a wonderful nights sleep, without any pain or tossing and turning. It has changed my entire life! You just cant imagine how much difference the right mattress can make, and Kevin knows exactly how to find the perfect match. Any time since that Ive had a question or concern about anything he has always been available and happy to help. If youre looking for the perfect mattress, like I was, at the best price and value, just go to The Sleep Firm. You wont be disappointed!

I had a problem with my mattress retaining a dip. True, thats not good. But Kevins attitude and service when I called was exceptional. I had not even asked for a replacement or anything & he quickly jumped into talking about getting me a new mattress ASAP. He told me about options and improvements since I had purchased, told me the info he needed in order to order a replacement, & hopped to deliver it next week! The excellent friendly informed service was absolutely consistent with my purchase process as well. Buy your mattress from Kevin! Hell make sure you get a fantastic well priced mattress that works for you & you can sleep assured knowing that if anything were to happen hell take care of it in a no-hassles sort of way. Now that is caring for your every sleep need! Thanks Kevin! 6/13/12 Update: Based on my sleep experience with the 1st mattress i bought, Kevin recommended a different mattress as a replacement. It had different features that he thought would help me sleep better. He was right on!!! Ive totally been sleeping better since we received the replacement (& my wife has too). He knows sleep! & Its clear he was consistently seeking to get me what would work best for me as opposed just trying to make some $. Buy from Kevin.

I traveled 50 minutes to come here because of the reviews I saw online...honestly, the reviews, even though they are great, did not do the service we received justice! From the moment we entered the store till when Kevin left our home we received excellent service and expert advice on sleeping, mattresses, and the products we purchased! I can honestly say that I cannot remember a better shopping experience in my life! (I know this may sound over the top, but you will see, I promise). This store front is unimpressive, but DO NOT judge this establishment on their store front. Prior to going to The Sleep Firm my wife and I had visited a traditional furniture and mattress store and priced comparable mattresses. When we arrived at the Sleep Firm I said to my wife, "we are not buying a mattress here unless the prices are amazing, lets just price check and talk about it." Well, the prices were amazing, and we left with an awesome hybrid mattress and adjustable base for literally $2,540 less than we had just seen at the other store. Do not buy a mattress without first stopping by The Sleep Firm, you will not be disappointed. [This is his wife now] I just couldnt let him post this until I wrote, "KEVIN IS AWESOME!"

We were in search of a "more firm" mattress and are new to the area so relied on Google reviews to find the place to look at. This place had 32 reviews with a 5-star rating, which really impressed us, so we gave it a try. We dont regret our decision! We walked in there, told them what we were looking for, and they gave us 3 options in their firmest to not-so-firm options. We tried them, chatted, our son played cars on the mattresses, and we walked out of their with our new mattress that day! We have a truck and the salesman said he had the one we wanted in stock. The price for our queen was MUCH less than what we were expecting to pay. Obviously, they are a smaller company so cash is appreciated when possible but they do take credit/debit cards. The salesman was honest, no pressure, and very "real." This is so hard to find nowadays when making larger purchases. We are happy to help this local business and hope these reviews continue to bring in more customers. We will be referring all our friends/family here, and we will be back next time we are in need of a mattress. Keep up the good work, Mattress City!

First off, this is the first time I have ever bought beds at an actual mattress store. To be totally honest I had a good feeling about this store when I first walked in. Gary our salesman was helping another customer when we walked in, but immediately formally greeted us when he finished. I told him exactly what I wanted and he walked me through the process. Also, at no time did I feel pressured to buy anything nor did I feel that I was being rushed. I ended up buying to twin mattresses for my kids and told Gary that I would probably be back to purchase a bed set for myself. To be honest I actually shopped around a little bit but did not feel the same comfort as I did at the Auburn Mattress City. In addition they also are holding my purchases at their storage until my actual move in date. I decided to go back and ended up purchasing my bed set. Mattress City by far has the best prices in town and the service was really great. I will continue doing business with this company as I Ill also be letting others know as well. Thanks again For the wonderful experience.
