Ill start off saying Im not a hater. I love to recommend people and businesses that do good work. Unfortunately thats not the case here. Were talking classic used car salesmen: I call to ask about a car, they say "Its perfect! Perfect condition, come over and check it out!" Not so much, but I was needing to ditch my gas guzzler and get a little 4 cylinder car. I drive over an hour out there. It rattled and had a lot more scratches than a typical 7 year old used car. Whatever, good enough. Definitely not "perfect" or anywhere near it. This made me laugh, classic salesman line. During the test drive Daniel mentioned that my registration was paid for most of 2015 already as a bonus for the car I was buying. Great news. Then I never got my tags... and they sent me a letter saying I owed them money for it. I called to remind them they promised tags as part of the sale. They waffled and it took a few frustrating phone calls trying to be nice to get them to follow through on their promise. I had to argue with them, it was ridiculous. Finally they agreed to their promise like they were doing me a big favor. I never got the tags even though we verified my address. Now I have to put up with the DMV on top of the drama I had to go through with them. These guys are typical used car salesmen. The car I bought has vibration issues that visits to two mechanics and over $300 of parts hasnt improved. Do yourself a favor, find a car on craigslist, have a mechanic look at it for $50, cut out the used car salesmen, and save yourself money and frustration.

first of all, i want to say that this place made it easy for me to buy my first financed car. I went in already knowing what car i wanted from the lot and Demitir let me test drive it. As i was driving it there was a leak of water dripping in from the sunroof and got all over me. i thought it wasnt a big deal after he said they can clean and dry it out for me. It seemed there were no problems with this vehicle. I drove off with this car back home which is about a 2 hour drive. on the way the check engine light came on. so that next day i brought it to my main mechanic. he lifted my car for me then and there and pointed to every problem there was with the car and i eneded up spending 1500 that next day. the car oil burns out every 1000 miles, with 5w-30 synthetic. they claimed its been in NO accidents and owned by 1 previous owner, and little did i know, my buddy works at a dealersip and looked the vin up and pulled my car up stating its been in 1 accident and its been owned by 4 owners. He even pointed out where the accident was and i notice now from the headlight not lining up symmetrical with the other side. and that all of this doesnt even include the transmission problem it has. they sold me a car with a transmission recall but its not in warranty to get it fixed so thats another 3000 i need to spend. all in all. be carful with these guys because this place made me more in debt then ever and i thought they were honest but they just wanted my cash.

I bought my car there. three weeks later it broke down they took it to the shop next door and replace the gaskets when I drove it off the lot again the check engine light came back on. they said I drove the car too hard. the car broke down again two weeks later after that I talked to one of the employees at the shop next door he told me if the cylinder and it was going to cost $6,000 when I brought this attention to the dealership he said no no its just a gasket again.. the owner of the shop next door reassured me that its nothing and its an easy fix.. I didnt even have the car 2 months and it finally just broke down through a lot of smoke in the back and yes it was the cylinder.. I took it to a different shop the gaskets word cracked and old and were never replaced and a little work they supposedly did was not done... So if anything the shop next door is also Shady just as well as the dealership..

To be fair to Palm Desert Auto I did a fair amount of independent due diligence on my purchase including checks with the local dealership and they were pretty flexible. That said, I have suffered a fair few problems in the first four months of ownership including the need for a new alternator, carb rebuild, replacement fuel tank, new shift linkage, ignition system and a tune up - all in all about 4k USD of work. Maybe these problems were unknown but I would have been much happier paying for these issues in advance rather than suffering the heart sinking feeling when your new pride and joy leaves you high and dry.

Bought a 1991 BMW 850i from Dimitri and Roy. The car runs great! What was most pleasantly surprising was the interaction with both Dimitry and Roy, both real car enthusiasts. They were very honest and candid about the condition of the car, gave numerous hints on how to fix present and likely future issues, answered my questions in detail and gave me ample time to inspect the car. We agreed on a very fair price in the end. It has been one of those very rare but very positive experiences when buying used cars. Looking forward to buying from them again when the time comes. Everyone knows that you can save money in the cars buying game by doing two things: Pay cash, buy gently used. Roy has a car to fit just about any budget. If you need something else Daniel will help you source it. Looking for a BMW 7 series 3 years old with 30k miles? I would say they can find it and save you a barrel of cash by avoiding the big box dealers. I bought my lexus here and have never been happier, both with the car and the money I saved.

Both our sons bought cars from Dimitri over the past year or so. Matthew got a beautiful Audi TT convertible & Marcus a sweet Corvette convertible. Dimiti worked well with both them & us. As a former race car driver Dimiti really knows cars & needless to say, does a wicked test drive! lol. Our boys are both really happy with their cars & the service they received. Were looking forward to buying our next car from Dimiti & Palm Desert Auto.

I do a lot of business around where the lot is located and I am in the market for a car so I popped up the website and the few cars I was interested in are priced way above blue book. If you are a haggler and just love spending hours on the back and forth of buying a car then this might be the place for you, but when you are pricing cars 3-4 grand over dealership blue book I am not even going to bother.
