My faith in humanity has been restored! New to Palm Springs and needing an affordable car I found myself wasting my time responding to listings on Craigslist. (I was adamant that I was NO WAY going to purchase a vehicle from some slick used car dealer and my only option for a fair deal would be from a private seller). Boy was I wrong.... After a disappointing and exhaustive search answering ads under private seller only, I reluctantly clicked on dealer...I had put a $ cap on the search filter and was sure I was opening myself up to sleaze. But I was desperate. And so I landed on the doorstep of AutoPlaza in Palm Desert. Surprised to find nice vehicles priced right and the most laid back salesman I have EVER encountered. No pressure whatsoever. Found a vehicle I really liked, but still, there had to be some catch. So, I left. (Remember NO WAY was I gonna be had). Yet, after another morning of wasting my time at other places the next day, I returned to AutoPlaza to find a smiling Avi chilling behind his desk doing some paperwork and ready to just offer me a good deal. No haggling no uglies just a good deal. A half hour later I was driving my car happily back to Palm Springs enjoying my smooth new ride and a beautiful sunset. Happily that is until...the check engine light came on (really?). It was after hours and I had no recourse. I paid in cash and had signed paperwork acknowledging I was aware I was buying the vehicle as is and had waived the extended warranty option. Ugh...the used car salesman had won and I thought I knew better. Did not sleep well that night. So the next day I took the car to a dealership for a thorough once over and a diagnostic on the check engine light. A bunch of bad sensors and other requirements and there I was staring down a potential bill - to just bring the car up to par - of $1,400 (!) Flagellating between fury and dismay - Avi was phoned. He responded with genuine kindness, felt as badly as I did (is that possible?) and without hesitation told me to bring the car in the next day (a Saturday) for him and Teddy to do the repairs. WHAAT??? Thats the honorable thing to do!?? And that is exactly what they did! I now must admit that I was entirely wrong in my expectations of a used car salesman. Dont know about all the rest but I want to yell this from the highest mountain...AVI and TEDDY at AUTOPLAZA in Palm Desert not only are a PLEASURE to buy a car from (and they have a nice selection) but they conduct their business with INTEGRITY and stand behind their vehicles! This is the only review I have ever done for anywhere but I am so pleased with my experience I had to share it (what a nice welcome to Palm Springs!) and can easily say if you are looking for a used car dont waste your time anywhere else ... Just go see Avi and Teddy at AutoPlaza in Palm Desert! And buy with peace of mind!

I bought a vehicle from Mr. Peretz cash, and 9 days later the transmission went out and put me in the hole $2k. A month later the vehicle was inspected and did not pass at all, in fact the vehicle was far from safe. The Motor Mounts were blown out along with the Rotors, Brakes, Shocks, Rear Pinon Seal, Front CV Axle and last but not least the vehicle is not even a 4x4. It was missing the front Drive Line, it was only Rear Wheel Drive. I bought a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 for $6k, i got a 2x4 with almost no brakes a blown out tranny and the motor mounts could have cracked while going down the freeway doing 70mph and DIED! DO NOT GO TO THIS MR. PERETZ TO BUY A VEHICLE EVER. And if you do and you get boned on a car, he wont be there to help you in any form.

I got into a car accident and needed a new car. I saw one that I liked online and went to the dealership a few days later. One of the most admirable things about Avi is that there is no pressure from him to actually purchase a vehicle. That made me feel very comfortable. Also, buying the car was stress-free and practically painless!! He made the process very quick and easy. Also, he stands by his cars. I found an issue with my horn and the windshield wiper fluid, and called Avi who told me I could bring the car back and somebody would take a look at it. Avi is an honest man and I highly recommend Auto Plaza of Palm Desert. I trust Avi and his staff and would definitely come back here if I needed another car!! Thank you Avi!!

not good bought a 2002 volkswagan for 2400 have have it for about a month the first thing that went out was the alternator after abot 30 miles they fixed it by wiring it straight to the fuse box two day later car stopped again had it towed to the dealer which required another 2,400 dollars to fix and all the repairs they promised to do before we bought the car come to find out it most were just taped on or wrong part used just to get it out so if you plan to by a car here I would advise taking it somewhere to have it checked out or you can wind up like us and end up paying alot more than you should. oh they did clean the inside pretty good that was the only good thing I can think that happened with this car so far.

Bought a 2002 Lexus RX300 at Auto Plaza. Took it to my mechanic who found that the rear brakes were metal-to-metal and only 5% left in front brakes. I asked Avi if there was a safety inspection done on the vehicle and was told no. It may not be officially illegal to sell a car with unsafe brakes but I feel it is ethically wrong to sell a vehicle with unsafe brakes. I realize that this is a high mileage vehicle and do not mind doing some repairs as long as they are not a safety hazard. I cannot recommend this dealer.

I searched for an older pickup for about 3 months. Finally I found what I wanted online from Auto Plaza Palm Desert. Good set of pictures and all the features I wanted. Called Alex and made a deal over the phone which included delivery. He delivered the truck to me the next day (300+ miles) and it was exactly what he said. I did have a problem with the Nevada DMV and the paperwork. Called Alex again and in short order it was corrected. Love my truck..... Thanks Auto Plaza Palm Desert and Thank you Alex...

Best experience buying a car! Amazing customer service and a great selection of cars in excellent condition. I went there expecting to browse, and ended up leaving with a BMW M3. Avi was very knowledgeable, trustworthy and very helpful. I never felt any pressure to buy. The car I bought was immaculately detailed. I would highly recommend Auto Palm Desert to anyone looking for an amazing car. This will be first place I stop next time I am car shopping.

Such a great experience! Avi took the time to give me all of my options and was never pushy. I ended up getting a used vehicle that I LOVE and can afford. He even took the time to make sure I knew how everything worked and was set up properly as far as connections my phone to the car Bluetooth , etc. I highly recommend Autoplaza Palm Desert. It was worth the hour drive to get there.
