We recently purchased a vehicle at Hayden West Auto Sales. We had seen a few ads up on craigslist and contacted Dan, the owner. He had a few vehicles we wanted to look at, so we decided to make the drive from Spokane out to Hayden, and we are glad we did. Upon meeting Dan, he was friendly, kind and courteous to both of us. We had went to the lot looking for a subaru, which he had washed and pulled up, ready for us to look at it and drive it. We happened to see a gorgeous lexus rx330 on the lot that caught our attention instead. As we were looking into it, Dan was completely honest about any problems it had or maintenance it needed, and was knowledgeable about the features it provided. We took it for a test drive around the area, on the side roads and on the highway and decided we really wanted it. He provided us with the CarFax as well as pricing reports on the vehicle, and told us exactly what maintenance his technician had done, and any maintenance the technician thought may need to be done in the near future. We felt the lot was very thorough about doing any maintenance necessary on their vehicles, making sure they were a good investment when driven off the lot. We appreciated how thorough the information provided was and that it was all laid out in front of us, giving us the ability to decide if we wanted to purchase the vehicle or not without using any underhanded sales tactics. The lexus was fairly priced (as was the Subaru, although we were set on the lexus), in great condition, and had great records, so we chose to invest. We are normally wary of purchasing from lots, but this was different. Dan’s kindness, honesty, and willingness to provide all available information made us feel comfortable purchasing from his family-owned and operated car lot. Overall, we are happy to give Dan a 5-Star rating and will be recommending Hayden West Auto Sales to our friends and family in the future. When we decide it is time to get something different, we will definitely be going to see Dan at Hayden West Auto Sales.

Seemed friendly enough, but Dan didnt know much about his cars. Made several false statements about their options. His technician that checks out the cars doesnt do his job. Our car overheated and therefore blew head gaskets ($2500+) 7 days after purchase because of a 50 cent cooling fan fuse. That should have been checked out by his so called mechanic. We were stranded 7 hrs away from home with 3 young children in the car. Missed work and out thousands of dollars after spending $9000 on the car a week earlier. Think it may have been a flood car. Please choose a reputable dealer. We like to give the "little guys" business, but wont be giving Hayden West another dime ever!

I have found Hayden West Auto sales to be friendly and reliable, and would have no hesitation to do business with them if I ever wanted another vehicle.
