Bob, my service writer do a perfect job as well as his manager [forgot his name]. They both did everything they could to help me out. Im upset at the tech that performed the warranty work on our vehicle. I am grateful for all the warranty work they did for my $100 deductible, however when the technician breaks stuff and tries to cover it up, yeah that doesnt fly in my book. If you break something, tell me instead of trying to hide it thinking that it wont go un noticed. I am an ASE certified tech myself..... im paying for a warranty to leave it in the hands of a General Motors dealership hoping that they know the GM car in and out more than i do and for it to be treated like crap makes me never want to buy a car for GM ever again. a] My gf and i took the car in without any "major" problems, when we got it back the first time, i was notified that it had to be jump started in order to bring it to us..... ok, but why, did they leave the dome light on when they replaced the door locks? No, the battery miraculously had a bad cell and left me stranded at the premium outlets south. I looked at my paperwork and it claims they tested the battery and it came out good...... hmm so what happened then? I took it back there and now the battery checks out bad? how is that so? b] Broken battery door. I mentioned this to the service manager and he said they will take care of it along with "C [see below]" well they didnt. c] Broken coil clip. When they replaced the coil, they broke the clip that holds the connector on. I was able to unplug the coil with no effort at all. I took it back and they replaced the connector...... a hackjob way. The proper way to do this repair is to depin the old connector and repin the new connector OR replace the entire harness. Splicing wires together UNSTAGGERED is NOT the proper protocol. Now there is a huge bundle that looks like a pregnant ladys stomach in the wiring harness. Let alone all the wires are the same color now so it will be harder to diagnose a problem if it occurs when its out of warranty. On top of this he wrapped it all up in electrical tape rather than shrink tube and wire loom like you are supposed to. This was were i gave up on this dealership and ran away with my car before I lose my cool. I asked to meet the technician so i could ask why he tried to cover things up and they would not let me. 2 weeks without our car and it came back as a crappy job, yeah im not happy at all and i will tell my family and friends to go somewhere else because of the way they treated my car. I am really anal when it comes to my personal belongings because i work hard for them. If i EVER do work on my car, i do it the proper way and its kind of sad to see that you guys have people like this in your shop...... a dealership of all places. We had to get our car smogged and registered, hence why i took it to the dealership so it could pass smog. When we got the car back the 1st time, i was going to get it smogged but it left us stranded with a dead battery...... dead battery = readiness monitors not set = failed smog. This in turn gave us late fees on on registration and they couldnt even give us a courtesy smog. like i said, im grateful for you guys "taking care" of the car for my $100 deductible, but this burned the bridge with me and ill go to another dealer until i find on that actually takes care of peoples belongings.

This is my 2nd time taking my Enclave there and so far no happy with either visit. Waiting for the service manager Mike to get back to me for this visit. Took my vehicle there about a month and a half ago for the a/c to be repaired and a few minor checks like the back hatch would not open when the release button was pressed. 3 weeks to the date I got my car back. And the check engine light went on as soon as I got home. The light was off the next day when I started my car and I was like oh ok....well it kept happening. Last week my car started freaking out and the sensors told me the engine was hot and to stop the car. Pulled over and checked it and theres still coolant in it. No damage since I stopped right away. Started my car yesterday before the tow truck showed up just to see if it was still doing the same thing and it wasnt. Only the check engine light was still on. Off it went less than a mile to Autonation Buick GMC on the tow truck. My appt was at 7 this morning and I spoke with my rep this morning at 740 and she said nothing about my car not starting, just went over warranty info and that I can get a rental once my warranty company approves it. I get a call this afternoon saying hoses need to be replaced (that warranty wont cover, over $800) before they can figure out whats wrong with my vehicle because it wont start. My car started and this was not a problem less than 24 hours ago. Im so over this. I have had this feeling since I dropped my car off the first time that something isnt right and that I have a warranty so they are going to find whatever wrong with my vehicle just to make money. Not only is it just a feeling but also it is true. My first visit there was just for ac check and small parts had to be replaced and somehow that came to almost $6000 in repairs. I will not be a victim for the 2nd time.

I was driving a 2008 Mercedes C300, it had 80,000 miles on it. The only thing in the future for this car was expensive maintenance and repairs. My sales person informend me that the GMC Terrain I was looking at actually came with 2 years of scheduled maintenance. I immediately factored two years of driving my current vehicle would cost over $1000 in scheduled maintenance, and the car would only be getting older. Autonation GMC gave me what kelly blue book said was fair for my trade. (Goodbye Benz!) Autonation GMC had to deal with me and my kelly blue book research. Even before I looked at KBB, my sales person already told me the price of the vehicle, with their costs of tinting the windows and other special things that go in in Las Vegas and they still sold it to me for what kbb said was the fair purchase price. I received the tax credit for my trade in on top of incentives from the factory which fully paid off my existing car loan. (That raises the credit score too!) It seemed to me that I was actually coming out ahead all the way around. I miss my Mercedes, like I miss chicken pox. This new Terrain has 10 times more features, cost a lot less, looks great, is an SUV and gas is $3.11 a gallon. If you have decent credit, go to this dealership. Do your research on kelly blue book dot com. Find your New vehicle, its price and features. This dealership will match that price or better. If you have a trade in worth something, they treat you even better because you get a tax credit from your old car ontop of the incentives. So, no down payment is required most of the time. I can keep going on and on but I have to tell my friends about the dealership and the incentives, and tax credit, basically everything I learned at your facility.
