I recently bought a slightly (27K miles, yay!) used car from TEAM Mazda Subaru in Nampa, Idaho. This was the best purchase I have EVER made and it’s largely due to “My Car Guy,” Mike Ploskonka. There are a bazillion car dealerships out there, but TEAM is definitely worth checking out – what a great bunch of people! I will definitely buy my next car from Mike, as will my daughter and son-in-law when they are ready for their next car. My previous car was in epic fail mode so my daughter and four-year-old granddaughter and I went to “just look” at the cars on the TEAM lot. After much research and review reading, I had decided I wanted a Mazda 3, but I had not seen one up close, so I figured we’d take a look. A few hours later, I took home a new baby that was exactly what I’d always wanted including my “must haves” – cloth seats, a sunroof and tinted windows. :) While the color (Copper Red) wasnt at all what I was looking for, after driving it for a few days, I decided I actually love it. Now I can’t imagine myself in any other car. Mike was very friendly and very professional and he really listened to what I was saying and understood my concerns. While I do understand that sales people are trained to do that, they often come across as unsympathetic and disingenuous. Mike was courteous and polite, and it seemed to me that he was very sincere in his interest in finding me the car that I truly wanted. Add to those qualities just the right amount of wit and humor, and Mike totally destroys the old “car salesman” stereotype. I sure hope TEAM knows what a gem they have working for them. Thank you so much for working so hard to get me exactly the car I wanted. You absolutely do not know what youve done for me. The Finance Manager, Ruben, who helped me with the mountain of paperwork, was also very knowledgeable and friendly. Although he was really slammed that day, he took the time to answer all my questions to my satisfaction and helped the remaining portion of the car buying process go as quickly as possible. The inside driver’s side door handle wasnt working at the time I bought my car, and I was getting the windows tinted and the sun roof installed, so I also had an opportunity to check-out the Service Department as well. I was equally impressed with the Service Rep who helped me when I dropped off my car and picked up the loaner. Unfortunately, and much to my chagrin, I don’t remember his name. I did not spend much time with him; however, he was also very friendly and very courteous. My car was ready exactly when they promised it would be and is absolutely perfect now thanks to the superb work by the Service Department! All in all, it was a remarkably exceptional car-buying experience. I HIGHLY recommend that everyone buy a car from TEAM, and particularly from “My Car Guy,” Mike. He’s the BEST!

About 5 years ago we went to Team Mazda, looking for a mini-van. We met with a sales rep that is no longer there, but I was still impressed with the professionalism and the quality of the Mazda that we eventually bought (Mazda 5). About 3 years later (and another expected addition to the family), we needed something larger to grow into. We took our Mazda 5 in for service quite regularly and got to know Stu in the Service department quite well. Hes a huge part of the reason we came back to buy another car with Team Mazda, and we were glad to be pointed to Jeremiah. We went back again and met Jeremiah Clemons, and absolutely felt at ease with the entire car buying experience. We traded in our Mazda 5, and got into something even larger for our growing family. Needless to say, the test drive was fun, the negotiations were easy, the interest rate we got was incredible, and the time spent was worth it. The professionalism of Jeremiah goes beyond any experience that I can think of. Were still happy with our (larger) mini-van and look forward to future car buying experiences with Team Mazda Subaru. There is no way the dealership is not writing their own false positive reviews. I had two interactions with Team Subaru months apart, with different sales persons and both were horrific. First, when I went into test drive cars the sales person flat out refused to allow me to drive cars I wanted only cars he wanted to sell me (which I am assuming only benefited his profit margin). Am I buy the car or is he??? Next I sent an email to inquire the list price for a car. They flat out refused to do so and gave me some line about not focusing on price rather on the negotiation. When I asked again for the price they tried the same thing. Which any person knows is code for negotiating a monthly payment vs a price that always results in the customer paying way more then they need to. If you buy a car here you will not be treated fairly.

My wife and I have been to several dealerships recently and finally landed at Team Mazda. We had terrible experiences at other dealerships where the salesman just wouldnt listen to what we were trying to accomplish, until we met with Jason Baird. Jason went above and beyond to help us trade out of our vehicle and into a beautiful, brand new Mazda CX5. Jason is more than a salesman, he actually listens and is very honest and upfront with his customers, and because of that, I will recommend my friends and family to go see him when purchasing a vehicle. I will certainly return and buy from Team Mazda again and will request Jason to help me. Thanks Team Mazda and Jason!

JASON BAIRD! Salesman extraordinaire! Although I must say Jason is much more than a sales person, he is more of a consultant and he listened, really listened, to me and took everything I shared with him into account when helping get me into my newly leased Mazda3. Which I love, great mileage and a fabulous sound system! Jason knows the Team products and inventory, he personally introduced me to the service manager and made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. I highly recommend Jason to anyone looking to purchase or lease a new vehicle!

TODD CRAWFORD is so totally AWESOME! I went to the $5 sale to just look out of curiosity, not to buy. Todd was very friendly and helpful showing me cars. I thought about getting something for my teenager, but decided she can have my current car and bought me a new Altima. He went to bat for for me on pricing and payments. I would recommend Todd and Team Mazda to all of my friends looking for a new car. Todd was not high pressure at all and didnt make me haggle for a great price. This is the best and easiest car buying experience I have ever had.

Look for Jeremiah (JD) Clemons when you head into TEAM Mazda, he gave my husband and I the BEST test drive ever! It was extremely eye opening to know how a car you are about to buy is going to do in a stressful environment. JD did an amazing job showing off how the car is capable of reacting to multiple environmental changes. As for the sales team, everyone tried to get us the best possible interest rate, the most for our trade in and the lowest price on our new car! We will definitely come back when we are ready for another new car!
