I had a pleasant experience at Winnings Wheels. The staff was nice, helpful, and knowledgable enough. They know what they are doing when it comes to wrenching on a bike. My only complaint is their prices are a little high. I came into the shop looking to purchase a specific and uncommon part that I could take home and install myself. Before I knew it, the part had been installed and the bike was ready to go. This was great! I didnt need to wait for a special order and come back another day, and the part was already installed! Fantastic service! When it came time to pay for the part and labor, I was surprised by the price. Because the service was so quick I didnt feel too bad paying a little more or feel the need to complain that I could have found the part retailing elsewhere for 25% cheeper, installed it myself and saved the labor costs. For a bike shop that specializes in road bikes and repair, they do their job great. Is it the best bike shop Ive ever been to? No, but that doesnt mean their doing anything wrong.

Outstanding shop! I recently took my bike in for repair, and when a supplier gave them a bad part, they did everything they could to make it right, even though it wasnt their fault. Ive also had a wheel built there and was very pleased with the results. They take the time to make sure they are delivering what you really need, not just what they feel like selling you. The inventory of bikes might look small, but dont be fooled that this isnt a serious shop. Take a look behind the service counter, and notice how many really expensive bikes they are trusted to repair on a daily basis as well as the commuting bikes and kids bikes. Its good to see that there are still bike shops around that create a welcoming atmosphere for serious riders and newcomers alike.

I came across Winning Wheels because I needed a locking bike rack for my car before moving out of state. After calling about 15 other shops (closer in proximity to where I live) I found that they had exactly what I needed for a great price and were very friendly and helpful about placing it on hold for me to pick up later. Im very disappointed that I only found their shop just as I was getting ready to move out of state. I would love to show my appreciation with repeat business, but Ill have to settle for this review instead.

Wonderful shop. All the employees really know what their bikes. I bought a haro mtb last month and since im 6 ft tall they ordered one for me, they assembled quickly and i was riding soon. really pleased with the service i will definitely go back when i save up some more for a decent road bike. Great selection of bikes but i wouldnt buy accessories there cause you can get most gloves, helmets, locks etc. online for much cheaper

I bought a rear light for my bike here and I lost it soon because I didnt attach it properly. Because Im a regular, Eric fished out a spare and just gave it to me. I dont expect this kindness from shops, but it makes for loyal customers. Thanks for the human touch, guys! Now Im going in to get my RhodesCar Tandem bike fixed there. HIGHLY recommended. Need a sixth star.

This is a great shop. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful and arent pushy to try to make a sale. They also wont try to oversell you into a bike that is more than you really need. Repair wise, theyre also great and do whatever it takes to fix the problem. Id recommend them 100%.

I think Ive meet the mom, she was so friendly and helpful. One of the bike mechanics helped me adjusted my bike seat and was totally cool. Thank you for promoting a biking culture in Pacific Grove/Monterey. Love you guys!
