The produce section is sometimes not very good because I realized they change the date to make it look like the items are actually good but the truth to be told thier probably like a week expired and not Really the equality that they promised I have even ask one of the produce employees and the lady said thats all we have or we have to wait for a fresh one and she responds with an additude that was my experience I wont be buying thier anytime soon another thing its not clean the table where people eat its always sticky and the bathroom also the janitor dont seem like to put effort on cleaning the toilet and also the Cashier they dont take the effort to greet you they just scan your item and talk to other people around I felt offended Worst Experience Im sticking to Vons they treat people 10 times the respect

This store is a perfect place to buy filipino products and when you crave for a filipino food but its shameful to admit that this establishment lacks the customer service especially the cashiers lack courtesy and quality service.There were instances that the cashier will not even greet you when youre at the counter or they will just scan your items while talking with other people. I have also experienced that the cashier just ignore my husband when he greeted her at the counter because she was busy talking with other people.

I dined a few times inside the market place. No problems in cooked food selections/varieties. The food quality and taste are fairly good in my opinion. The problem is the dining area. The tables, chairs, and floors need to be cleaned and tended regularly. Condiments on the top of the tables, i.e., vinegar bottles appear to be filthy. Even trash ( used napkins) were present occasionally on top of the tables and floors. These kind of place are likely and or prone to be inhabited by roaches and flies.

One of the best selections of various hard to find asian foods in Ventura county. The deli is top-notch and reasonably priced, and while there are better asian centered bakeries in the area being able to pick up some baked goods while doing the rest of your shipping is convenient. There can be a bit of a wait, both at the deli and to check out, so maybe try somewhere else if youre in a hurry.

I recently moved to Oxnard and was pleasantly surprised to learn about the Filipino community and grocery store. The grocery store is very clean and has everything Filipino. There is also ready made food by the pound. I got fried smelt and lechon! So delicious. I didnt really like the guinataan. I cant wait to try more!

If you are looking for Filipino specialty items, this is the place to go. They have a take out place as well which is pretty good in my opinion. As far as other Asian specialties, they have the basics. Seafood section had plenty of options.

I give it 3 stars only because it could be a bit cleaner. They have a lot of fish to choose from, but the need to clean the tongs more often. The produce area is hit or miss. Depending on what day or time of day you go.
