The worse experience ever, this is not the only bridal boutique, stay away from them! I went to this bridal boutique because my sister has bought her wedding gown many years ago and we thought it was a good place to go back. Everything went well I found my wedding gown until I had a call from a very unprofessional and disrespectful lady named Ana. Ana called me less than 24 hours of my second fitting (3 weeks before my wedding) to “supposedly reschedule my appointment” because the owner, Connie had an “emergency” I panicked because I knew the big day was approaching. After an argument over the phone my mother called the store and asked Ana not to cancel my appointment, we couldn’t believe that without Connie’s approval I couldn’t try my gown???? Really??? We ended up going to the appointment and the reality was that they did have the dress ready for my second fitting, no alterations were done. When I finally picked up the dress we were upset at the fact that they overcharged for such a shady job and the dress looked awful…Connie insisted that it look great and that it was my fault they job was done like that. She also said to my fiancée, who had to call her to complain for the shady job she has done that I didn’t have a job so I kept on asking her for a better deal….WHAT??? When did I talk to you about not having a job???? Really??? I didn’t know I was unemployed lol… Not worth to deal with her crap, unprofessionalism, and rude staff… I had the worse time and experience at this place and I do regret buying the dress from this negative vibe and having it altered in there. I took my gown to another seamstress who laughed about the shady job this lady did. I wish I read the store’s reviews before walking to that store. Awful staff, awful experience and pricy for their shady job!

I had a terrible experience with alterations at Ferndales Bridal, which forced me to find a a new seamstress and get emergency alterations a week before my wedding. When Ferndales finally got around to hemming my dress, after the third fitting, they cut it terribly uneven, and too short in patches. They also failed to hem the underlayers, just leaving jagged cuts. They did not properly sew the skirt to the bodice, leaving an open, fraying seam at one place along the waistline. Additionally, they left a number of small holes, runs, and ironing scars (wrinkles that couldnt be pressed out) in the organza. The owner insisted that nothing was wrong, maintaining that having the bottom be an inch off the ground was not too short, and that wanting it longer was merely “a personal preference.” She said that what they gave me is how the dress is supposed to look, that no one would notice, and that I am just too particular. Over $300 on alterations, and they couldnt even be bothered to properly hem it. I know what you are thinking, dont most salons have some bad reviews? But ask yourself this, do you really want to take a chance on your wedding dress that your alterations will go smoothly here? You only get one wedding day (hopefully), and you want to look beautiful and take great photos. Do not get your dress altered here, or you will be taking a HUGE risk.

LOVE this place. The consultant wasnt pushy, she listened to what I liked and was looking for. Such a large selection of dresses. It was like a sea of gorgeous gowns! All the lovely ladies that work there are so sweet and nice. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for their perfect gown. I had tried on all the dresses that I had in mind without any pressure. When I was feeling a bit like I wouldnt find *the* one the consultant brought out a dress that had just arrived and it was perfect! Their veils are also gorgeous. Family owned, very personable!

If I could give zero stars I would. My maid of honor called to confirm if this store requires appointments. The representative stated no, but she was welcome to. We made an appointment, ran a little behind. So when we get there and begin the process she states we do appointments by the hour, rushed me, and was not even personable throughout. The store was extremely small, with not much space what so ever. I would not recommend this store for the lack of customer service and selection.

My daughter found her dream gown at Ferndales and Connie made it fit like a glove! Not only that, she corrected the alterations on two bridesmaids dresses that had not been done properly at a different shop and they turned out beautifully. Thank you to everyone at Ferndales for being a big part of this special time in our lives!

Ive heard horror stories of this place. Me, and the wife decided to find out what they could do. The staff was unknowledgeable , and rude. Seemed as if they hired right out of high school. Since the owner is a fabled pain to work with, theyre probably the only people who they havent already fired.

Anna was amazing! They stayed open late for us and were very helpful. My daughter showed Anna her pinterest board and asked my daughter a few questions and wa-laa she found her dress. Anna and the owner were so friendly and very accommodating. I would recommend this place to any bride to be!

Shopped for my sisters wedding dress here. The staff was so sweet and helpful. There were 5 people in our group and there was enough room for us to hang out and relax while the bride tried on dresses. She was about to take her time and we never felt rushed.
