Honestly guys, I dont like writing bad reviews but this place is pretty bad. My rating is a 1/2 star or less. The staff seemed nice... unfortunately the donuts are very old. Im guessing they were probably getting slow, so they started keeping unsold donuts and stuff for an extra day. Sad thing is, this is not going to keep customers or convince new customers to come back. Now it seems as if the items are days old. I normally go to Jumbo Donuts on Lincoln and Glassell. We were at 7/11 and decided to try Donut Star because its across the street. Jumbo donuts is around the corner and well worth the min drive.

I believe in supporting small business but this was pretty bad. They nuke their ham n cheese croissant but globbed in the middle was the cheapest ham, sliced rolled up, 1/2 slice of american cheese and way too many jalapeños. The strawberry banana boba smoothie was disgusting and the service was so slow it was embarrassing. All the while a woman was yelling at, her son?... instead of getting off her butt to help the poor kid. Not good at all guys... I will not be back

13 donuts to a dozen is always nice. Selection wasnt great, but probably would have been better earlier in the morning. Chocolate frosting tasted a little funny to me, but maple was very good. Custard filling disappointing and buttermilk donut was dry.

Ive been been going to this shop for 18 years till now all my family gose to this shop. They have really good dounts and taste good and great owners. They have fantastic Thai ice tea with boba and there coffee is freshly made every day.

Just got an Iced Coffee With ICE CREAM!!! It was bomb and super creamy! I highly recommend this place. The owner is funny and shes very nice. I like her and the donuts here A LOT!!!

Average at best, muffins were old and donuts were ok. No fountain soft drinks and overpriced everything else.
