In a span of one year Ive only shopped here twice. It always looks like there would be tons of options but once you go through the stock, I dont usually find too many preferred choices. Im usually an XS or 0 size so that can be a challenge too finding leftover stock with the right size and price. I usually look for good prices and good material like cotton as most of other synthetic stuff dont go well with me skin. I wish they had more organic cotton/linen options. However, I did visit recently due to their 40% discount otherwise Gap is pretty expensive. I picked 3 shorts $ 15 each (original price was $45 which I would never buy as it is too expensive) and 2 simple t shirts with a small pocket for less than 12$ each. I liked the material of both shorts and shirts and was happy I only paid 75$ total for the 5 things I bought. I think its good value for money when they offer discounts, otherwise the store in general is a tad expensive for my taste.

Give it up for the Oakland GAP around the Lake. Its in an amazing shopping district and has cute clothes and accessories. I enjoy the relaxed feel of the store. They also have the cutest baby and kids clothing at reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about trendy clothing and the pjs are out of sight soft. Make some time to support local Oakland retailers.

This is my neighborhood Gap and I love it. Im here at least once a week trying to find some type of bargain or what not. The staff is always nice and friendly. The only issue is that they never have nicer items like in the larger stores.
