I waited over an hour for the ShoeDog evaluation and left. I came into this store to buy running shoes as I am an avid runner. I went to the back wall to check out the shoes and was told i would be waited on shortly. I was disconcerted that no prices were posted on the shoes. Noone waited on me from sales and noticed the ShoeDog setup. Curious, I decided to put my name on the list. I waited for over an hour. The ShoeDog was sporadically manned by 2 but at one point, one of them was called to the front register to look up a receipt for a customer. There is no business process flow in place that clearly delineates ShoeDog diagnostics, sales and front desk inquiries. When I asked where the other ShoeDog rep went, I was told curtly that "He was unavailable". I thought the whole customer service aspect of this store was poor and would never buy from this store in the future.

Plainly, they just dont care. Was sitting there for about 15 minutes, 3 staff members were there and nobody even cared to ask us if we needed anything. The old lady didnt even look at us. The old guy just came in and immediately went to help somebody else. When the young lady finally helped us, she almost threw the shoes at my wife. The only thing she was good about, was offering me the $25 VIP subscription to get "special price". We did not buy anything from them, I took a picture of the products (5 finger vibrams and Asics GTs about $220 total bill) and bought them in Amazon for $180.

Not sure what to say .. went there yesterday didnt know the time of closing so reached there few mins before to 8. The shop owner did not say anything to us when we were entering, but few mins after he shut offs the lights .. so I enquire about what is the closing time .. and answer I got is "we are closed already". I think that rude.. he might have said before hand when we were entring the shop or at least should have asked us once to bring any thing to bill before closing the register.. Not sure if want to go there again.

Somehow ended up a member of their VIP program (which I dont remember agreeing to) which means I get the privilege of being charged a fee years after visiting the store. I called to be removed and was placed on hold for 30 minutes before being disconnected. I am sitting on hold again. Since no one wishes to speak to me, all I can do it warning the track teams of both of my kids and all of you fine people. THIS STORE IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!!!

Really?? I was never told about the VIP program costing $19.95 until I was at the register. I was led to believe that I would receive 20% off my purchase - oh yeah and that is after they made the insoles that cost $85.00, which they also neglected to inform me at the time they started the process. My mistake not to ask but I will never return. I could of bought quality shoes for alot cheaper which I will do but the 85 is money wasted.

I have been a long time Road Runner patron. From the management to the staff, I am always treated with care and concern. I have yet to receive anything less than excellent customer service. Some days they are very busy, but what else would you expect at the best running store in Ventura County. Road Runners 90 day guarantee is great and I have taken advantage of it several times as running shoes arent always perfect.

Disappointed with this location. I have been a loyal and long time patron of Road Runner. They rarely if ever greet you at this location and they used to always take back shoes and clothing that did not hold up. Always a great selection but need to have better customer service when you are buying $150 running shoes and gear.

they have great customer service and they help you choose a shoes that would be best for you. They have a treadmill with cameras based on your feet to show how you run and a foot print machine that shows your arch in your foot

We were specifically looking for cleats, so we didnt get the full experience here, but the store seemed nice and had a good selection of running shoes and activewear, and the employees were courteous.

Good selection. If you are not an athlete harder to get waited on unless no one in store. Even then got passed around. Too bad. Really want to support local businesses.

Great fitters. Know a lot about running and walking shoes. My son, who is a cross country runner, said the shoes they fitted him were the best shoes he ever had.

Great selection of running shoes and accessories. I did not like the custom insoles and felt is was a gimmick along with being very expensive.
