My experience at this shop was fantastic. I went to buy a new pair of ski pants and to look at what they had in ski boots, and ended up with a pair of both I am very happy with. They had plenty of boot selection and a guy to help me try on many pairs of boots who was very knowledgeable on pros and cons of the various types and brands. The shop is clean, well organized, and offers lots of selection for many different things, and they have friendly and helpful staff who know their stuff. Truly a gem hiding in the rough. Go here for equipment rather than one of the big sports stores, you wont regret it!

Best place to buy gear. The staff is very well versed in all aspects of gear and the sports that you would use them for. The owner Steve is the coolest guy in the world. I drive 45 minutes from my home a whole county over passing big Sports stores along the way to get to this shop. Thats how much their service and knowledge mean to me. Ive been snowboarding for 10 years and Ive only dealt with them for all my gear needs. Visit this shop trust me. They will not dissapoint.

If you consider yourself a serious skier or boarder in Southern Cal and havent visited the SportsLTD store you owe it to yourself to get in there. At the end of the day there are really only a gaggle of shops across the US that are really good at what they do, and this is one of them-certainly the premier shop in SoCal. I trust their opinion. They demo all the best equipment themselves and have it wired. Steve, Lenny, Chris and the crew will take care of you...

OK why didnt someone earlier tell me about this place. Thought only one ski/snowboard shop existed in so-Cal but glad they dont. Well worth the trip up 405 and I think I have just been converted, this is my new ski shop for LA. The choices they made me make, GNU or Burton, and my girl, K2 or Rossignal, these are decision I love to make. Got sick, sick equipment and much cheaper than I thought. Also got a new jacket, 40% off, cant wait for next season.

Great overall store, not just the prices. Finally a store that knows what they sell and can give you intelligent advice, not necessarily the most expensive one. other so called custom sole in foam inserts. plus their pricing is actually better than sport chalet, REI etc... definitely recommend it
