I spend (now spent) easily $250 weekly shopping here for my family. The parking lot is always horrible, but I have managed to look past that. The employees are rude and unresponsive. A lady was practically chasing an employee while he walked briskly away, as she was saying loudly "excuse me can I get some help.". The hot food selection wasnt that great today, so I decided I would have a burrito bowl. Ana and Joe were both making sandwiches for a lady who was in front of me. They were like snails and kept wispering to each other and laughing. I waited 7 minutes and not one person said that they would be with me soon or even acknowledge me. Finally Joe puts a sandwich on the counter and just turned and walked away. I had a full cart and needed to get home so I decided to just get a salad from the salad bar. I went to the check stand, was second in line and hadnt removed anything from my cart. The register to my left opened and the cashier told the lady behind me that he could help her. I left my full cart and decided that I can get everything I need with much better customer service elsewhere. Vallergas, Nob Hill and the Farmers Market have it all and most of the time at better prices. The management here needs to work on teaching front of the line people about true customer service.

Normally I go to the Whole Foods on California Street in San Francisco. Compared to that one, this one is far better, for a few reasons. First, its a lot larger, and therefore roomier. Its almost too large, actually, as getting from the bakery section to the egg section can take more time than Id like. Still, size matters, and this WF has it. Second, the attitude factor is a lot lower here. Though Napa Valley is full of foodies, the ones who sneer at your unenlightened purchases seem to be less common in Napa. Third, the parking lot is far more ample. Fourth, if you dont find what you want at Whole Foods, you can probably find it at the nearby Trader Joes or Safeway. The prices are typical Whole Foods -- i.e. too expensive for my taste -- but on every other dimension its far better than the WF I know best.

I travel a slightly unreasonable distance to this store because it is the only Whole foods for miles. That being said, its proven to be a waste of time. Its always packed with people, the shelves are always missing what I want and they expect me to ask that they place the order to restock something there is a label for on the shelf. I am probably better off shopping at T Joes or even Safeway. There at least the organic fresh produce is separated from the non organic, at this absent minded whole foods they are literally rubbing together on the same stand. The non-organic rhubarb and other produce is sprinkled with water on a timer and it drips down onto the organic broccoli. I am seriously concerned that the manger does not know what organic is, otherwise this wouldnt happen.

I have loved to shop at whole foods, especially for special occasions; For things that are normally hard to find. I recently had back surgery so I decided to make things a little easier for me and order our Thanksgiving Dinner from whole foods. I hate writing this kind of letter and I suppose thats why its taken me so long to finally write. The food was awful. everything was for the most part inedible. Even the apple pie crust was so hard it was difficult to cut. I have to say it was one of the most embarrassing dinners I have ever served. I will continue to shop at whole foods but I will never buy another prepared dinner. I hope that you can improve this for your future customers. No one should have their Thanksgiving spoiled like ours was.. respectfully, Ila from Napa, Ca.

Been going here since opening. Staff are like good acquaintances. I get 90% of my food items here. Their Prime Steak is the only one I purchase. Their olive and cheese section is better than the rest in town by far! Try the "sheep cheese". Trust me. Browns Valley and Vallergas just not quite as good in most fresh items. Like one person mentioned below - the beef borgunioun is awesome. But seasonal sighhhhh. I would say their weakness though- is in some of the layout of the bulk section, like always looking for the pen and twisty ties to label. Also their pastry cupboard should be priced more clearly. But - this is my place! Love em!

Ive been here multiple times. Its been a couple years since I went. My most recent visit yesterday was disappointing. I wasnt greeted or asked for help by any employee working there during my recent grocery trip. I passed by multiple employees in different departments, but everyone was more task oriented than service focused. Most had their heads down doing things and never greeted despite making eye contact with some. This lack of service is a complete opposite from the energy and welcome atmosphere other near by grocery stores have. I would suggest you can find good quality foods elsewhere for a much better price and a better experience.

Hey Anthony in the Bakery - thanks for not writing down or processing my special bakery order that we emailed back and forth on 4 times. Of course your day off is the day I am supposed to pick this up and no one on your team has any knowledge of this or apparently any competence in regards to how to check emails. Way to provide stellar service. Way to totally destroy my friends Valentines Day gift. Bravo. Oh - and team leader who I called to complain to - way to go totally silent on the phone in lieu of any response. Way to be a problem solver. Fantastic skills there, bro. What a team at this store. What a pathetic, useless team.

Biggest. Whole. Foods. Ever. This store has 10 soups in its deli including lamb stew, beef bourguignon, and jambalaya. Ive not seen beef bourguignon or lamb stew in any of the other Whole Foods before. Im used to seeing the chicken soups and vegetarian split pea soup. This Whole Foods also has a newly added coffee and juice bar as well as ample cafeteria-style seating. The staff is uber-friendly and down to earth and the bathroom is clean. What more can a shopper ask for?

I am very happy with the ways the employees handle my needs like wanting three Wallaby Plain Organic Kefir for my friend to pick up. Stephanie ran back found them, put them with my name on them and gave instructions on how to pick they up at the Customer Service Desk at front Northside of Whole Foods. Is one product with 15 types of good bacteria--probiotics--that builds up the colonies to fight off the bad bacteria. Good job, Whole Foods!!
