I unfortunately had to look for flowers for a funeral after my mothers untimely and unexpected passing. Through the recommendation of a friend, I looked into City of Flowers. Judy was very kind and agreed to meet with me and my family on short notice given the urgent need for our flowers. Not only did she meet with us, but she met with us on the morning of July 4th, when her shop was closed. We were at a loss as to what flowers we would need, but Judy was able to provide us clear direction and guidance while showing us an abundance of examples, both in her photo books as well as arrangements she had in store. She provided us with ideas for arrangements and provided different price ranges to help us figure out flowers that would fit within our budget. She was also willing to provide us with easels to help display the different bouquets. At the end of our meeting which lasted about an hour, with her guidance we were able to come up with a color theme as well as our preferred flowers for the service. With those tips, we gave Judy the liberty to put together flowers at her discretion while providing her with our price point for the different arrangements. Judy had the flowers delivered in a timely fashion directly to the chapel. When I walked into my mothers funeral service in the chapel, I was astounded by how beautiful the flowers appeared. There were about 15 large arrangements, not one exactly like another, but still similar enough to see the theme we were aiming for. I couldnt be more pleased with how the flowers turned out and so was my family. The flowers were not only beautifully arranged, but you could tell the flowers were very fresh as if they had just come from the flower farms. In the end, my family and I couldnt be happier with the flowers Judy delivered for my mothers funeral services. We felt very well taken care of and did not have to stress about this very important part of the planning process. We appreciate Judy, how she accommodated our needs, and highly recommend her and City of Flowers for anyone looking for beautiful fresh flowers. Thank you Judy!

"A picture is worth a thousand words." I think I uploaded a few dozen ;) I worked with Judy to design the look of my wedding day. Judy was easy to work with, caring, trustworthy, accommodating, professional, and took the time to truly understand exactly what my vision was. I expected beautiful bouquets and arrangements - City of Flowers not only met mine and my husbands expectations, they far exceeded them. As soon as you walked into our wedding venue, The Palm Event Center, you could smell the fresh aroma of roses, lilies, and hydrangeas. Every bouquet was packed full of roses and stephanotis flowers, adorned with jeweled decorations. All of our arrangements and bouquets radiated with bright shades of pink, purple, and green. Even better, they all lasted for over a week after our wedding. Our guests still talk about our wedding flowers to this day. If you are a bride or groom looking for a wedding florist, I highly recommend City of Flowers. They will make your wedding venue look like a fairy tale. City of Flowers did a fabulous job on the flowers for my wedding on 12/28/14! I know the holiday season is one of the busiest times for florists, yet Judy and her team were totally on top of our order and made us feel like their most important customers even though they were very busy! Judy was very easy to work with. We met a few times in person to go over my vision. I gave her one photograph as a general idea of what I was interested in and she took it from there. She offered some really wonderful ideas, most of which we ended up going with. We ended up ordering numerous bouquets, corsages, and a decorative arch. The prices were VERY reasonable -- my wedding planner was actually shocked by how low they were. We were happy with everything, and the arch in particular was absolutely stunning. It was covered in colorful flowers and accented with beautiful evergreen and ribbons. The flowers look absolutely stunning in all of the wedding photos, and Im so glad we chose Judy for our wedding!

I have been a frequent customer of City of Flowers for several years, purchasing everything from simple bouquets and corsages to large gift baskets for special occasions. However, this last year, my family hired Judy (the owner/main florist) to be the florist for my sister’s wedding. Judy happily went over every detail with us from beginning to end, making sure that everything would turn out perfectly. The flower arrangements turned out better than we could have ever imagined. City of Flowers went above and beyond what was requested of them…not only was Judy prompt in her decorating skills, but she organized the flowers so that the colors would accentuate certain features, or empty areas of the church and reception site. To our astonishment, the bouquets and centerpieces retained their original bloom and color for two weeks! We will definitely return to City of Flowers again and again for their 100% dedication to their customers’ satisfaction and quality flowers. Thanks, Judy!

If youre buying just a few items ... theyre very dis-respectful, and will ask you so many rude questions. Theyll talk & ridicule you, in their native language. Particularly that old mid-aged short asian lady. She was rude, impatient, and doesnt even understand basic English. And worst of all, she doesnt even know how to properly decorate and wrap flowers. She cramed in so many additional decoratives (to jack up the price) and made everything look like a salad. And heres the lowest part, the total was $21.85, I gave them $40 (cause I only had twenties), and my change was $8.15 Either she couldnt do math, or trying to rob me blind. Youve been warned .... shop here at your own risk. Youre better off going else where. Simply the worst florist in 94040. I will post another warning for Yelp users as well. Hard working customers like us shouldnt have to put up with these type of low services.

I have interviewed several Florists for my sons wedding. I could not decided which one to go as none of them gave me a comfortable feeling. Until I went to City of Flowers, met with the owner, Judy. I described what the bride wanted. Judy gave me a lot of good ideas. I felt this is the Florist that I want they make the flower arrangements for my sons wedding. I had few visits later to bring the bride and my son to meet Judy, every time Judy was very patient and answered our questions. I was worried about the hot weather in July, the wedding was at 5 Pm outdoor. The flowers turned out to be fresh through the recption. The center pieces were so pretty. I have already recommended City of Flowers to my friend, her daughter is getting married in December.

No matter what the occasion is, I know I can count on Judy to create something gorgeous, do it in little time, and at a very reasonable price. Flowers have always been fresh and vibrant. City of Flowers in Mountain View is my go-to spot for flowers. Judy and her staff take care me like a VIP every time I go in there. Just yesterday I went in, asked Judy for a bouquet of purple and violet colored flowers for around $25. She said: "Ok, no problem,"... walked in and out of a couple fridges, pulled a few flowers here, a few there, went to the back to arrange, and came out with an amazing bouquet. She HOOKED IT UP! For a guy whos clueless about flower selection, City Of Flowers is a pure godsend.
