My parents have been long-time loyal customers of Nakayama Flowers. Over the years, they have ordered Dale Nakayamas impressive bouquets for birthdays, mothers days, anniversaries, you name it. Most memorably, Nakayama made an arrangement for my grandfathers funeral several years ago. We simply asked him to use gardenias, my grandfathers favorite flower. My family was very touched when Dale Nakayama created an enormous wreath made completely of fresh, fragrant gardenias. The bouquet was done quickly, beautifully--and with heart. It was a lovely goodbye for my grandfather. When it came time to choose a florist for my August wedding, I immediately and without hesitation turned to Nakayama Flowers. Dale was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. During our consult, he was patient and very detailed, carefully going through every inspiration image I had brought with me. He made sure he not only understood which flowers I preferred but also grasped the overall look and feel I had in mind. I was especially pleased when he suggested a few budget-friendly alternatives for the more rare, exotic flowers I had selected. I celebrated my wedding day just a few days ago, and I was blown away by the arrangements created by Dale and his team. He truly exceeded my expectations. The bouquets were even more gorgeous than the photo references I had brought to him, and even our guests were raving about how stunning they were. Before the ceremony, Dale and his team showed up on site and set everything up--from the arbor arrangement to the various bouquets--ensuring that everything was perfectly arranged. The bridal bouquets, boutonnieres, and flower girls hair wreath were picture perfect. Nakayama Flowers had not only listened carefully to my requests, but also had executed the arrangements with his own masterful flair. Nakayamas flowers were spectacular and by far one of the most stunning aspects of my wedding day. Thankfully, the next day we were able to repurpose the arrangements at our post-wedding brunch--and we even gave them away to guests as favors. It is safe to say that my family and I will continue to be loyal fans and customers.

I placed an online order on a Monday morning, asking that the flowers be delivered to my grieving friend the same day. I got an e-mail from Dale Nakayama saying they were closed on Mondays, but he would deliver on Tuesday. I wrote back saying it was my fault - I didnt notice they were closed on Mondays, but I was sorry my friend wouldnt get them on Monday. Three hours later I got a call from my friend, in tears, telling me how beautiful the flowers were !! I was stunned !! This businessman, Dale Nakayama, had gone into the shop ON HIS DAY OFF & made up a beautiful arrangement & delivered it to my friend. When I e-mailed back to thank Dale, his response was, "This is the reason we do this type of work". WOW !! You just dont find people like this anymore.

A lady friend in Palo Alto did me a huge favor. Im in Oregon, so cant thank her face to face. What to do? Aha, flowers! So I phoned Nakayama, placed the order. Not only was the price completely reasonable, the flowers arrived SAME DAY. More importantly, my friend (a high IQ doctor) was blown away by the beauty. "I almost fell over backwards!" she said. Id give Nakayama a 10, but the scale only goes to 5. Highest praise!!!

WORST FLORIST EVER!!!!! HORRIBLE JUST HORRIBLE DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!! PURCHASE ELSEWHERE!!!!! THEY WERE RUDE. I WAS NOT HOME WHEN THEY DELIVERED, SO THEY LEFT MY FLOWER ARRANGEMENT AT A HOUSE DOWN THE BLOCK.....WITH A MAN I DID NOT KNOW......AND NO CONTACT INFORMATION. The BEST florists around!!!! We first met Dale when he created our prom corsages and boutonnieres. Since then, weve been coming to him every year for Mothers Day and celebratory flowers and he even ended up doing our wedding 13 years later!! They have super high-quality flowers, very reasonable prices, and they treat you like family. No one else comes close!

This was the best florist I have used in years! They made the most beautiful arrangement for a friend of mine at the hospital. I requested Warriors colors and it was a giant, gorgeous bouquet of white roses, blues and yellows. Topped off with a blue vase and yellow and white ribbon! Not too mention same day delivery! Thank you!!!! They are the best!!!
