Go stand in line at the DMV. Eventually you will be called and there is some form of structure. There are no lines here. It is a crab pot at this store. To be fair, this was my first visit to an Apple store and perhaps they are all the same. Survival of the fittest it seems and my kindness was mistaken for weakness today. You are at the mercy and discrimination of whoever feels like helping you and you will need to be rude and heartless to other customers if you decide to do business here. Get jacked up on that Me mentality and just push your way to the man in control. Basically, get ready to come to work. I just drove to this location for an appointment at 1:50. It is 2:40 and I surrender. Here is how I lost: I was invisible and always the last in line. I walk through the front doors to be greeted by no one. I walk through the entire store front to back, then front again to be acknowledged by no one. I sit a while to be acknowledged by yet again, no one. Never being to an Apple store, I looked around and noticed gray shirts "employees". I then inconvenienced an employee who was stopped mid approach from me by another customer who literally just walked in the door. After that employee helped that customer, instead of first come first serve, he then told me I would need to check in with some guy in a beenie. When i was walking up towards Mr. Beenie, he looked at me and stopped me mid approach to tell me he "would be right with me" and he continued helping the customer he was already with. So I said, "Okay, thank you," and I sat. I watched 7 or more people interupt him and get checked in while I waited. After helping the first customer, he walked over to another who was sitting next to me and helped them while I waited to give him my name for my appointment. Yet he still continued taking names from interrupting, new walk up customers. I waited fifty minutes to give them my name and never did they get it. I had a reservation almost a week in advance and all I needed to do was check in to the genius bar for a cracked screen replacement or consultation. I couldnt give this store my money and I never will. If this is how the world is then I dont want to live here anymore. Horrible experience. Keep in mind I have never been to an Apple store and this was my first impression. I am considering boycotting these products at this point. I am ashamed that I am an Apple iPhone owner supporting this kind of a system. You have to understand that this was so bad that I typed this entire review on a shattered iPhone screen. Glass in my thumbs to give this warning to anyone considering coming here.

Worst customer service of any apples stores so far. Made an appointment to get my phone repaired under Applecare. The employee said he couldnt find any AppleCare under my account. He then looked at the serial number of the phone and asked if I already had it replaced once because that was listed under the serial number. I said no. He left to investigate more and came back saying that an employee must have mistyped my serial number for someone else who used my AppleCare service. He would write a report and it would take 24 hours to link my serial number to my account again and that I have to come in again to get my phone serviced. I said that this is very inconvenient and if they can offer something for their mistake but was denied anything in return for their mess up. The employee overall was very cold and did not really care that the mistake was on their end but left me no choice then to leave it at that. Then went over to get an iPad case. Asked the staff about different colors as the display didnt show the colors i wanted in stock. Staff said most colors are not in stock, she was emotionless and didnt really seem to care anyway. I checked the website whilst in the store and it showed that the colors i wanted were avail for pick up in the store. Will never go to his store again.

I recently came into this Apple store with my boss when both of us had our computers stolen in San Fransisco. We were both prepared to drop money and walk out with new computers until we had had an awful experience with a rude female sales person. She was incredibly unhelpful and didnt listen to our needs which were fairly basic. Due to a new line of mac books being released that week she said they had none of what we were looking for (slightly older versions) in stock. She consistently made us feel dumb saying "I already told you that we dont have what youre looking for, " constantly responding with "thats what I said," when we needed any type of clarification. It also felt like she was forcing us to buy a more expensive product. We walked out feeling defeated. After a couple of minutes of talking it through, I convinced my boss to head back in and talk to someone else. She did. The next sales person got her the exact computer she had asked for previously. They only had one in stock, but still. As two women that work in sales and customer service, we realize how important it is to make a customer happy. Apple should very much consider who they are hiring to represent their sales team. Frankly they lost a second easy sale.

When I first walked in this Apple store in Los Gatos, I had already purchased two new mini Ipads. I was looking for a cover, keyboard and other accessories. It must have take 15 minutes before a sales person asked me "Can I help you?" Someone started helping me then gave me to another sales person after 10 minutes of questions. The store wasnt even crowded. To say the least, I was not impressed by the slow customer service I received that day. I popped into the store again late on a Friday night because of more questions. I must have came with 5 minutes before the store closed. The sales person was again very slow to help me out to the point to where I was embarrassed to other shoppers standing there without anyone helping me. When a sales person did finally help me, all they could say is that "We are closed". Wait! There are 10 people still in the store, how could they be closed? Terrible customer service I did receive in the only two times I was in the Los Gatos store. It is a shame too since I am a new Apple customer and you dont treat new customers like that because they wont go back. As for me, going back to the Los Gatos store may not continue. Id rather shop somewhere else.

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice ... This place sucks. I have been to maybe 25 Apple Stores across the country and this one is the loser. I had two "genius" appointments there. The first time I noticed there was something off about the individual that I was dealing with but I thought that it was a particular occurrence. I ended up talking to his manager and he was basically a puppet that didnt know anything and repeated his inability to do anything. I believed my first experience was an isolated bad one and due to driving distance I decided to return there for my second appointment. The second time it was about a month later for a different product. I told this person my problem and he started arguing the definition of my problem. Just plain rude. (The five star reviews are obviously from people working there) P.S. The idea behind the Apple Store was to have people that had technical knowledge but also social skills interacting with customers. The second is quality is nonexistent in this store. RUDE, AVOID
