This store should be in top form because of its proximity to the STAPLES Center in downtown Los Angeles. I was thoroughly unimpressed. The only time I was recognized properly was from the gentleman at the cell-phone repair desk. Most of the other employees were talking amongst themselves and were recognizing customers mostly to tell them where to park their bicycles and that there should be no picture taking inside the store. As I went to leave I even paused to explain to their cashier that the words, "My pleasure," go much further than, "No problem." Tsk, tsk, tsk. This should be the flagship store of Los Angeles and I should not have to coach their employees on proper customer service.

The staff are nice but the management is poor. Ive been to this store twice first to buy a laptop advertised online and available at this location. The manager told me that they do have the computer but they couldnt sell it to me; it was bound for the warehouse. He said I should have called first, but there was no such note on their website. The second time I went there for an paper-advertised 16gb pny stick memories for only $8, I was told they havent unloaded the sticks from the truck. They dont seem to care that people make trips to purchase from them what they advertised.

Very cold service, not people friendly at least in the morning. Another thing is not nice to play customers, Im a heavy labor worker so I not too tech., knowledgeable though I am somewhat literate, so I go up to the printing and copy desk ask the person how much per copy and told me 14 cents Im not sure but never told me that I could make them myself for half the price. I didnt noticed the damn printer behind me after I had paid. Made me feel stupid and once more not to relay on others even when its about pennys. Well played...@$#*&/

Kept me on hold for 20 mins to look if they had a certain product- withinin that time someone would pick up the phone and ask " who are you holding for?" - this went on 4-5 times. It was really annoying. Another time I asked if they carried coffee creamer and the person said yes at first, then asked me to hold so they could check. He came back on 10 mins later just to tell me he didnt. I dont think the employees know what products they have in the store.

I needed to have copies made, so I went in and priced the size I needed. The woman who helped me watched as I wrote down her quote. I came in two days later to have the job done, and the exact same employee said that she couldnt do the job, and gave me information which directly contradicted what she originally told me. I formatted the files for what she had said was possible and now Im going to go reformat them to be printed by a competitor.

Staples is a good store to shop for school supplies, electronics, or any office furniture. You can simply just ask for help from an employee and theyll help you or/ and answer any question you have. Its doesnt fit the five star criteria because some stuff is just too overpriced and can be found cheaper elsewhere.

They have your basic overall office needs here but it really feels like the morale of the place is sliding. Forget about getting furniture here - its overpriced and shabby. The register lines are always long and move slow. Feels like Fed Ex office. I think the answer is better management. My two cents worth.

I am so done with all staples locations! They all have terrible reviews and the people need to wake up. At this location, Ive sat on hold for 12 minutes just for someone to PICK UP THE PHONE at the print center..... Hello??? Anybody there??? I eventually hung up! Its a Monday afternoon. Get to work people!!!!

Weak selection of merchandise but very courteous and knowledgeable staff. Staples needs to go back to basics. The, "Yes we have that" stocking policy. Because Amazon has it for sure. But I like stores and the people in stores. Just dont shoot them in the foot by giving them no merchandise

Very unprofessional the management at this staples is Grade A GARBAGE starting off with Steve Nakamara and ending with Abdi (obese) these 2 are total failures at what they do all I wanted was good customer service and didnt recieve any especially from those 2, dont shop here

They say they have a price match guarantee on the big desk behind the customer service, but they dont really match. E bay, amazon which are biggest online stores are selling cheaper than them. Last time Im shopping with you. Thanks Rude customer service.

For being so close to the Staples and USC Id expect this store to be, at the very least, stocked with supplies. It didnt have what I was looking for (decroative or recycled hanging folders) and the workers didnt know how to make fedex labels.
