Cute little shop with Japanese toys and novelties. Pricey, but the stuff is high quality and eclectic. I saw a few things that are from American Animated shows, but the majority was Japanese. I appreciated that it wasnt all common Anime stuff either - it was more artsy. It made me think of a lot of my friends and wished they were in LA with me checking out the store. One of their displays has shirts and art books and nicely drawn serial comics. Overall it was a nice shop to browse in, though I didnt find anything I just had to have for the price. I almost bought the Ninjabread cookie cutters. Those were really awesome.

I cannot express adequately with words how much I miss living near Giant Robot Store. As an avid reader who likes to hold onto books once shes done reading them, it can get pretty expensive buying books from Borders or Barnes and Noble.

The best of quirky, modish, LA. A highlight of Sawtelle and the kids just love it. If youre a tourist looking for something different in the wastes of the Westside you cant do better.

This is like a Japanese yard sale put into a store. All sorts of weird nick jacks and art pieces. Yet you can almost always find something interesting that you MUST have.

Giant Robot is an amazing shop for comics, books, t-shirts & art. I love it! They work with tons of independent artists & have stuff that isnt available anywhere else.

Independent store selling cool, nerdy items with vintage styling and decor -- boom! The cashiers have always seemed nice, friendly and down-to-earth too.
