I must admit, I was nervous about buying a car because I am single and a woman of a certain age who had never bought a car without a male partner. I made an appointment over the internet and was greeted very pleasantly by my salesperson. I found a car that I wanted to buy and negotiated a good price. I was concerned that the brakes were acting up but my salesperson assured me they were fine. I mentioned it 3 times but he continued to tell me they were fine. I had a great meeting with Rosie and had no difficulty getting her on the phone a few days later. I drove the car off the lot a VERY happy person. Four days later,the brakes locked up. I returned the car immediately and was given a loaner vehicle. When I picked up the car a few days later, I asked to speak to Brian Lewey because a friend had had a very good experience with him. I told him that I felt my concerns had been ignored by sales and that I had put myself in a potentially dangerous position by driving the car when there clearly had been an issue with the brakes. I didnt expect much in return from Brian except the requisite, "Ill look into it. I am so sorry" type of response. Brian brought me out to my car and told me that he would like us to drive it together, taking turns. He assured me that he did not want me to have the car unless we both felt it was right. We then negotiated a way for the dealership to compensate me. AND trust me...I was WELL TAKEN CARE OF. I was flabbergasted at what he offered me in return for the stress and inconvenience that I went through. He went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND any expectations that I had. He is truly a manager who puts his customers first. Also the service staff and the women who work the service desk were amazing. I was angry and upset the day I drove to Bob Smith for brake repair, but I drove out of the lot a few days later in tremendous gratitude for the service and the attention I received and for the dealerships and Brians willingness to do whatever had to be done to stand behind their product. I would highly encourage anyone who wants a great car (I am averaging 50-65 mpg!) AND also wants the service and attention that goes with an important and expensive purchase to RUN, DONT WALK to Bob Smith Toyota.

I was the very blessed winner of a raffle at my church. The grand prize was a 2017 Toyota Corolla LE. The moment I stepped into the showroom at Bob Smith Toyota in La Crescenta, I was greeted by Haik, our salesperson. He smiled the moment he saw us and was so friendly in all his dealings with us. At no point did I ever feel rushed or like an inconvenience. As my family and I were talking to Haik about which color we would like, Mike Smith came out to greet us personally. The pastor at my parish knows Mike Smith personally and gave Mike a heads up that we would be there to pick up the car. We were greeted by a huge smile and the first thing he did was give me a big hug and congratulated me on the win. At no point did our interaction ever become a pitch to upgrade to another model or upgrade to other features-- it was obvious that Mike really was interested in us. He asked about what I did for a living and was so personable with us. We even shared the video of me winning with him and took pictures with Haik. He was genuinely happy for me and was more than happy to award me with the prize :). Eventually I decided on a color and Haik was quick to bring out the car to show us. We didnt wait a long while before signing the paperwork. Everything was explained to us so thoroughly and it was great to not be confused for once! Ive been to other dealerships where the employees would do so little explaining and got impatient when I asked questions. Bob Smith Toyota is professional, relatable, and friendly. I didnt feel like I was a customer there. I felt more like a friend because of how well they treated us. Before we drove off the lot, Haik took pictures of me and my family with the new car and even joined in on some of our pictures. I walked away with a brand new car and the experience I had at Bob Smith Toyota was the BEST! I, most definitely, would go there again to purchase another car. Oh and did I mention the fact that I got a "thank you" card in the mail today from Mike? He wrote that it was a pleasure to meet me and my family, that he was so excited about me winning, and he wished my ministry many blessings, to make it short. What a guy! Thank you, Bob Smith Toyota, for being the best! Thank you Mike!

I went to this dealership to ask for test driving 2 vehicle ( RAV4 and 4Runner ) and I was just looking basically on prices of some cars. After 5 min a lady came and ask what am I looking for and I said Im looking to find a 4Runner TRD pro to test drive and and a RAV4. She said we sold our 4Runner trd pro , and I was like ok no problem. And she continued ya we sold it for 55,000$, but you can put 8,000$ down and order one and wait in waiting list!!! I said why should I do that ??? The website price for for 4Runner is 42,000$ and I can order or ask for test drive for no money down or waiting in the waiting list. So she started like ya the 8,000$ Down and 55,000$ is the price for us, there was even dealerships that want to send us with lower price but we put their offer down, anyway how much are interested to put down for this car!!! I mean why even in the seven helll am I hearing this!!! None of these interest me, all I wanted to check two model of your cars and you could simply say I dont have 4Runner trd pro lets move on to RAV4 and end of the story. I didnt even let her to finish to the end because she didnt make sense, so I said I am here to test drive some cars because it is the end of my lease contact and I was trying to decide which car Is better options for me beside what I have with considering prices and quality of the cars and you didnt even let me be comfortable in your dealership so this dealership is not for me and thank you for bringing all of the unnecessary information to me and wasted my time now I know that Im not looking to get either of this cars. Goodbye and have nice day. By the way we already lease 3 Toyotas from other dealership and never had an issue. One of the cars leases is close to the end, and we are just looking for different models that we already have. We will keep this in mind to not return again to Bob Smith Toyota Dealer at 3333 Foothill BLV.

My husband and I walked into Bob Smith Toyota back in 2010 looking to buy a used Prius, as we do a lot of driving but had only a limited budget to work with. We were greeted by Marcos Sarreal, our salesman, and were immediately taken care of in the warmest, most professional manner we have experienced at a car dealership. Marcos helped us find the right car (in fact, a brand new 2010 Prius with just the upgrades we wanted) and terms (a lease with a favorable buy-out option at lease-end) that suited us perfectly. There was no haggling or pressure, just great service and the willingness to listen to and fulfill our needs in the smoothest, most pleasant way we could have imagined. We drove off the lot that very day, thrilled with our new car, and have been happy with it ever since. When the time came this year to convert our lease into a purchase, Marcos went WAY beyond the call of duty to handle an unexpected stumbling block that could have cost us our car and generated considerable trouble for us. He extended himself tremendously on our behalf and we are very grateful. Lidia Guevara, Bob Smith Toyota’s Customer Relations Manager, deserves mention as well for her caring, effective, professional assistance during our transition from lease to purchase. Both Marcos and Lidia epitomize professionalism and the utmost in quality service. It is to Bob Smith Toyota’s credit that they attract and maintain such wonderful employees to care for their clients. I would recommend anyone seek out Marcos and Lidia at Bob Smith Toyota for the best car leasing, buying and servicing experience available. Thanks you two!!
