Professional and Courteous Atmosphere! I have not dealt with a pawn shop in over 20yrs. I ran into a financial situation, and need relief fast. I know I didnt want to sell my jewelry, but decided to pawn it instead. I have notice Eden Loan Company because I shop at Luckys up the street. With the economy at its worse state, I was worry that I would be taken advantage of, or lose my jewelry by some fly by night company. But after viewing some of the reviews on the internet about this company I decided to give it a chance. I must say Brent was quite the gentleman, and showed me much compassion and respect. He made my decision to pawn my most precious assets painless. I feel my jewelry will be in safe hands until Im able to claim it back. Thanks again for all your help.

The experience was terrible. Google has their rating at 4.0. I dont know why. They offered the lowest price for my gold. Then I had too jump through all kinds of hoops because they couldnt buy it without"state issued Id" After I wasted most of my morning with them and had no money, I got smart and went to the pawn shop with only a 2.0 Google rating. I was out of there in less than 5 minutes with 20percent more money than Eden offered. Stay away from them. And always question Googles rating system. I have to agree with Mr.garcias review in that they may racially profile because I am also part Hispanic and my last name is a portuguese name. Dont accept what they offer and shop around and as for my family and me we will not touch them with a ten foot pole.

I am still smiling from the experienced I encountered yesterday at Eden Loan Company. I have lived in Hayward off and on for the past fifteen years and during my outings in the downtown area I would always past by Eden Loan Company.( one of Haywards landmarks) Over the years so many businesses has closed but this place is still striving, and I see why.. I met Brent who was very courteous and very informative. His customer service skills is beyond any service I have experienced in a long long time. He explained everything in regards to borrowing money on my jewelry and all they have to offer. Thanks Brent you are awesome. Marguerite Angel

My fiance and I came here after a horrible experience at My Gold Buyer. We brought in several pieces of jewelry, a watch and a digital camera. They gave us almost double what My Gold Buyer did for the jewelry, and gave us a good deal on the watch and camera. As a sidenote, we brought in a stereo as the website said they accepted audio equipment. They no longer buy any audio equipment, but the broker who served us said he was in the process of updating the website and, as a result, he threw in a little extra for the trouble. This was our first real pawn shop experience and if we ever hit hard times again, we will most definitely come back!

I must admit, I was a little skeptical purchasing fine jewelry from a pawn shop (this was my first time.) I was helped by Brent who was a joy to work with. Eden Jewelry and Loan is very clean/well maintained store and has great hospitality. I purchased a 14k gold chain and pendant and he measured and weighed everything in front of me. Then Brent wrapped the necklace in a cute black case and put in a gift box, ready for me to give as a gift. You cannot beat the price found at Eden Jewlery and Loan. I will be coming back.

I have not had any experience with pawn shops, but Eden definitely left a good first impression. I went in with my mother who wanted to sell a pair of old earrings she did not wear. She had been to a few pawn shops before that left her with low expectations as to what she was going to receive, but Eden gave her a chunk of change that surpassed her expectations. Brent took care of us and was a great guy. This seems to be one of the most legit pawn shops in the area.

Went to this place a few days ago because I had some jewelry I have had for a while and wanted to see how much I could get for it. Brent at this place was Awesome, he even got me more money than I thought I would. He really went the extra step to help make sure that he was taking care of my. Definately recommend to anyone trying to pawn or sell jewelry, after you are done being low balled by everyone else, stop by here and see Brent and you will be glad you did !

BEWARE!!! Never will I take my business here again allen treated me like i was a low life and as if he was to good for my business, i think he was racially profile me which I dont appreciate, maybe hes racist, i think everyone there is honestly. If you wanna be disrespected and get ripped off come here, there jewelry is over priced and the prices they offer on loans dont add up, good luck!

Lucky day I found this store. I had spent a full day cleaning out jewelry boxes and realized I had many pieces I dont wear... I was determined to sell the gold, didnt know how. Found my way to the store, feeling alittle unsure what to do. This was my first time dealing with a Pawn Shop. The people there were friendly (I dealt with Brent), they were very honest, and fair. I think I was in and out of there in 15 minutes. I would strongly suggest using them. They are fabulous to do business with, and they are nice guys. Even the people that were not helping me, were extremely courteous to me.

Just stepped out of this place and I gotta say it was pretty good. We pawned some gold and they gave us a pretty decent loan, double what other pawn shops were willing to loan us. Overall good experience, very fast service, and good people.
