I had a black onyx stone replaced in one ring and when I came in I asked for flat surface -- not rounded. When I came to pick it up the stone was rounded so I said it was wrong. After giving me a very hard time and telling me they would have to charge me for the change I agreed and left. I picked up the ring and they had simply turned the stone over, took my money and sent me on my way. I did not realize this until later.... ugh. Previous to that I had come in to have an opal replaced. I was very happy about the replacement but the stone cracked and half of it fell out within 2 months. I was told that opals were soft... sorry, no guarantees. There must be a better place than this in town, right? The owner is rude and impatient. He never greets me when I come in. Just not a nice place!

Had a pair of london blue topaz earrings from a jeweler in Santa Cruz turned into a ring and pendant. Owner stole my jems and replaced them with less quality similar stone. I have two items, the jems dont match what I gave him originally.
