Ive rented sod cutter here numerous times including my employees. The rentals have just become worse and worse. Not the service but the product. Its got to the point where I have just told my guys no more getting tools from this Home Depot. Today (5/30 7:15am) I rented a sod cutter. Sure enough drive belt is shot when I get it to the job. So Home Depot thing is call us and let us know and return it. New flash I have a full crew on the ground and we have to come up with a plan B game plan. I cant have my crew sitting around and waiting to go return it and rent cross our fingers one that is working. I REEEEEally wish Home Depot understood that. I rented it for a full day so I would t be rushed. I told back after about 4 hours on my lunch break which took us that long to do what we needed to do in place of the sod cutter instead of 1 hour. The department supervisor said she couldnt credit me back except to just charge us for 4 hours which out of principal is insane! Thats what this is about. Cherry on top the gas is empty and I was "reminded" to bring it back full. I had to explain the kid I got it off from that morning didnt check and neither should I and seemed to be empty. Im assuming whomever brought it back in the morning broke it and left it with no Gas. Im the renter thats taking care of it, top off with gas, power washing it down, taking my own tools into HD for repairs which they have one right now. Advice for department "Supervisor" one of the most important aspects of business is not just having the title its relationship building and taking care of your people. So for that here is a one star and we will be going elsewhere for tools and rentals. Its a shame we actually enjoyed going to this location.

The workers that are on there feet walking around or doing thing or showing (walking with then to the location) people where the parts they need are very helpful and informative. While the experience I had with the people sitting at the desk at the floor and window section just pointed in the direction that the where I can find the temporary window shades that I was looking for. Then went right back talking to her coworker in front of the computer. Other than the experience with the two in floors and windows, everyone else was extremely helpful and as Ive said in the beginning they literally walked you to where the parts or items I needed was. They even gave suggestion to where you can get an item you need that the dont carry. My experience at Home Depot in Glendora/San Dimas was a positive one.

Bought a hot water heater two years ago it died contacted manufacturer and was told to take it back to home depot. Ok I did went to return counter did not have same model in stock so got the equivalent size cost was $150.00 more whatever. The home depot staff said if you get a credit card with us u save $25.00 ok sign me up got approved. After all that I owed the balance and I said well give me my $25 off and put the remainder on the card. Staff member said oh you cant do that on a return with a remaining balance owed for the new product. As you can probably guess I was pissed by now. After explaining to the millennial what an idiot they were they finally gave in just short of me inserting hot-water heater in their ass

Great Customer Service! I am working on a project for my kids. I figured it out how much I will need and the sizes for both 1/2 board and 2X4. I did a little research before going to the store. it seemed to me that most of people had bad experience when to ask for cutting the wood in store. That certainly was NOT my case. This nice gentleman called Alfred in your Glendora #6617, who was super friendly and professional, helped me and eased my worries and made my project so much easier. What a service! I really appreciate his help and the excellent customer service.

The cashier has no clue about their products. Bought holland pavers for 43 c each. Somehow he thought they are Rockwall Cap and charged me the price of 98 c each. Yet still insisted that was what came up on the screen until I pulled up the picture on their site showing the price and the shape of the paver. Then they insisted that I TOOK them out of my car and took them to customer service counter just to get the price adjustments. Such a good customer service.

Terrible experience trying to check out in the garden shop. I stood for 5 minutes while a blue haired girl talked on the phone. I finally gave up and left what I was going to buy on the counter. I stopped and told what had happened to another woman who worked there who defended the girl. I sincerely doubt that I will ever go to that store again when Lowes is close enough and who needs the friggin hassle of rude employees.

They need to have some more helpers to assist us in finding what we need !!! Its a massive store & I rarely have the time to waste trying to find what I need. One time I wasted over 25 minutes trying to find my item &/or someone to help me, before storming out. Is this just a store for contractors, or what? I GOT BETTER THINGS TO DO!!!

Overall good helpfulness by the associates on the floor, but when I went to customer service there was only one guy available for a long line of people, and when another man came, he took people in the back of the line rather than people in the front waiting for the longest. Unfortunate experience that one time, but usually good service.

Had best pro experience ever. The lady helping me out went to let one of the forklift drivers know that I had paid for 30 ready mix 50lbs bags. He kindly told her and I that he would be right with us in 20 minutes ( breakers wait for no one lol) She got another guy and was able to get me out in about 8 minutes. Thank you.

Worst customer experience in years. They couldnt answer a very simple question. Employees didnt even acknowledge me. One employee dramatically quit while I was there. Frankly I dont blame him. Sorry Home Depot, you lost a customer for life today. Zero stars if I could

Sometimes you have to find help, but if you look up the item online at your local store it will tell you if it is in stock & what isle number & bay number. I like them better then Lowes, even though they are same distance from my house.

Great Customer service! Another customer and I were both looking for a specific style of hardware and the ones in the bin were mismatched so Michelle (in hardware) went looking in back and found a whole box! Saved my project.
