If I could give Vons rating lower than 1 I would. I had purchased groceries online yesterday because my husband was away, I had no means of transportation and ran out of milk for my baby. So bought few things through their website and booked delivery for 1-3pm today. I was waiting for 2 hours when no delivery came, so I called them. It turned out that this Chapman store had cancelled my order because they didnt have few things so my order didnt meet the minimum amount. They didnt have the courtesy to let me know, either by phone or by email. This store apparently informed them (I assume the customer service center at 8am this morning so they had plenty of time notifying me. Instead I found out because I called them after the delivery schedule window. The store could let me know directly. And guess what? I still had no milk for my son. All they offered to me were apologies and credit, both of which I cant feed to my son. The only solution they gave me was to re-order everything online and they would try to deliver tomorrow. Such a joke. I would never order from anything so unreliable and rude. The customer service supervisor on the phone also hung up on me because she said she had wasted enough time with me. Well they wasted 2 hours of my time. Please do yourself a favor and never order online from this chain of store. If you do, prepare that your order is going to be cancelled without them telling you. And youd be left with nothing, your time is wasted and youd be treated very rudely.

Always a long line to check out even though they have those signs hanging over their heads that read "3s a crowd", but thats not the main reason I give this vons 1star. Very rude cashier was so busy chit chatting over personal things with the cashier 2 rows behind him he was not paying attention to what he was doing. He got upset because He forgot to charge me my bags and was upset he had to go back and do it. At the end he didnt give me my receipt and when I asked him for it he said he had given it to me.I told him he had not, my daughter was with me and she confirmed he had not. Well this guy continues to argue he did give it to me! Like a 5 year old. So I said to just reprint my receipt. He gave me a face and said we dont reprint receipts. I couldnt believe this guy he was so lazy to the extreme he would make up an excuse to continue to do the minimal effort to help me. I left while I was walking away he said "maybe the receipt is in your bag". Even if it was which It wasnt because I took out everything inside my purse btw. He couldve just reprinted. But no he stuck to his guns and that was it. Least to say I called the store I got transferred and got dropped while waiting to speak to a managet. Then called their main corperat # and I waited 30min!!! On hold and got dropped again. Wth! So yeah I dont reccomend this store at all. Can imagine what I wouldve done if there was something wrong with my produce... WITH NO RECEIPT!!.

Their delivery men were an hour before their scheduled time (we opted for a one hour window since we were in disneyland) had to leave the park to come back to recieve our order. They put our groceries into our room and we realized they made a suptitution (we understand that happens!) But they substituted a diet soda selection with a non diet soda. Both of these issues combined frustrated us, we called and they have yet to even try to right the situation. We have no rental car to go to the store to exchange it.

First, the prices are high. Second, store is messy. Third, my cashier did not even greet me or say anything at all. Thats right, he literally just stared at me, acting like I was the one doing the work. After I stood there a few seconds, he was like "uh, is everything ok" when he hadnt even greeted me, or even bothered to tell me the total that I was paying. I was like "is there a total? Or..".. and then he told me the total while talking with coworkers and not even looking at me. Complete idiot.

Was at store 2176 in garden grove today and had a horabl experience. The staff was very rude. I shop at Safeway in Arizona all the time and this kind of behavior would never be tolerated. The cashier Pritesh was a jerk. He has no people experience. If this guy was on my staff I would let him go. He does not care about his company and his service shows it. I would never set foot into a nother Vons again. I do not recommend you do not eather. Very poor service...

The line is always long but you cant beat the $5 deals & all the specials, great savings does help a lot. It is small store and gets very crowded. If you can avoid the crowd, come in early it makes a big difference. You can find most needed items so the resort area people comes here to shop also. I dont mind shopping here even though lots of people I know says its the ghetto. This is one of my store for many years now as well as other Vons. Thank you.

Theres a sign on the door that says how committed they are to shorts lines "3s company, if theres more than 3 in line well open another line" Thats not reality at this store. The lines were down the aisle and there were more aisles to open. The poor girl checking me out had to bag the groceries and deal with a long line. The store was messy and cold. Kelly the cashier whos was very nice and helpful was the only reason this is a two star review.

I live by this location and have since 1996. They rarely have more than two check stands open at any given time and they do not have any self service. You can always expect long lines. I only stop here if I just need one item and I an too tired to drive 3 miles to the next store. Because of this I started using Ralphs on Chapman and Euclid, and they always have lots of cashiers and they have self check. Prices are pretty much the same.

One individual Vons employee disrespectful especially to owners of support animals... By law he is not supposed to even question my illness (PTSD Veteran), let alone humiliate me to the point of harassment by insinuating that the original animal support documentation from my Doctor was fraud... Who is he think he is? Judge Dredd? Ill ever go there again... Besides, my dogs know a hypocrite dog hater when they smell one...

Have gone to this Vons for at least 15 years, mostly out of convenience. This is a very small store and at times the selection can be limited. The most frustrating thing about this store is the lack of deli and baked goods offerings. At times they seem to run out way too early and do not plan on demand. They are a little higher priced than other competitors but the staff is generally friendly and willing to assist you.

I live across the street from Vons and have been going there for over 14 years. The staff is awesome, and because I got there all the time the staff knows me . And they work very hard . Always willing to help me and to have a laugh with me. I enjoy going to the store and I use the app on the web . Its call just for you. And you click on the things you buy and no need for coupons. I really save doing this .
